Dr. Stephen James Annest, MD

I've never experienced a doctor so rude in my life. Not helpful, and insulting.

This doctor is one of the top doctors in the country for my rare medical condition, thoracic outlet syndrome.Unfortunately, the Vascular Institute decided not to accept Workers Comp or Medicaid patients nationally thus depriving us of surgery due to a scarcity of doctors in this country with this level of expertise.Staff is impossible to deal with, and unless there's money in front of them, don't follow up. As an out of state patient, it was a no-man's land. I am sad to say I would not recommend this doctor due to his organization's disreputable practices. So much for the hypocratic oath....

He diagnosed my problem and was very honest. Dr. Annest did everything he could for me and I am happy for that. He is very caring and I know that he was always looking out for me as his patient not what the work comp. company wanted as almost all other doctors that I have had have done. I Thanks God for people/doctors like Dr. Annest.

Dr. Annest's staff found insurance coverage for the procedure. Very plesaed with the results and it has been 7 years without a relapse in varicosities!

Dr Annest and Dr Avery are the top vascular surgeons in my book. I have TOS and have done my homework researching who does what operation and who gets results. Getting well is my motive. Dr. Annest and Dr. Avery score the highest score I can give them on any and every subject that might matter to a patient. I would recommend either of them.

Dr. Annest was very good at explaining things to me and giving me a good line of care.
