Dr. Stephen James Aquino, PhD

Dr. Aquino is always professional and reliable. He is available to help his patients when needed and will even work with the school and the teachers for children who need help. My son has been working with him for the past 16 months and I have seen significant improvement. He is happy and doing well in school. We cannot thank him enough for his hard work and dedication to his patients.

He is harsh, insensitive, and rude. He does not appear to care about his patients. His facility is not appropriate as you can hear everything if you are sitting outside.

Dr. Aquino is extremely disorganized and unprofessional. The environment is uncomfortable due to the absence of any waiting area. The walls are thin and everything can be heard to anyone standing in the hall waiting. He leaves children sitting in the hallway for way too long and too often. He is disrespectful to his clients. He does not remember what went on in previous sessions and accuses clients of making up stories when they tell him what was happening. If a client is saying something he doesn't agree with he will roll his eyes and cover his face with his hands and completely disregard you as a human. Due to his not listening to you, he then accuses of saying things that were not said. He will talk in a condescending tone. He does not follow agreed upon goals set by his clients. If you express any concern or disagree with him, he threatens to discontinue treatment. He speaks about other clients to you and tells private information. I would never recommend his services to anyone.
