Dr. Russell Beaty and his entire staff have a Spirit of Excellence. They are Professional, Caring and Genuinely Concerned for you as a patient. I highly Recommend Dr. Beaty, there is not a sufficient rating high enough to attach to him.

having said that, the staff for Dr. Bakir @ Cardiovascular Associates is only slightly less than perfect. Personally I have more problems than I feel is necessary when trying to get someone / anyone to return calls when I have had questions concerning care/ tests results , etc. Just recently, I called and left messages for someone to call regarding a result from a test . I didn't understand what it meant. Called two times....two days in a row...no reply.....I even called the on call Dr. as a last resort.....the NP did return the call but was not able to explain . To this day, I have still not had a call back from anyone with CVA. I will agree overall, they are very competent in what they do AND they are EXTREMELY busy. But they need to give more attention to the patient AFTER the Dr.visit when its warranted. FYI I still do NOT have an answer. I have no way of knowing if the Doctors are aware of this problem or if they would even care...but if they are all like Dr, Bakir, I am sure… they would like to know..

Wonderful Doctor, always does exactly what he says he is going to do. Always goes above and beyond in communicating and keeping me informed.

Dr. Bakir is very professional; thorough in his exam and communicates with me. His bed side is next to none. We need all we can get like him.

Excellent listener and shows real interest in the patient. Calm demeanor. Well informed in new studies and practices.

he dosn get in a hurry with me when I go but he does listen to what I have to say he is extreamily concerned about any issue I have with my heart health he runs every test that he thinks is important for my health prob.

Dr. Baker is the most concerned Dr. I have ever seen. It is not just in and out, he explains and answers any questions one may have. I can not express enough how thankful I am for a caring, knowledgeable doctor.

When I was initially referred to Dr. Bakir several years ago, he was the only one in the Birmingham area performing the septal occlusion I needed. What a blessing that referral was! He is the most caring, sensitive and compassionate doctor I've ever had in my almost 66 years of living. He patiently explains every procedure and/or diagnosis and answers any question concisely and thoroughly. Recently my husband needed emergency treatment and his regular physician was not available. I was elated that Dr. Bakir was the one to insert the five stents for him. I trust him him completely! I pray he'll be able to treat me until I'm no longer treatable! Thank God for the gift of this most wonderful physician. .
