Dr. Stephen Ray Coleman, MD

Dr. Coleman grew up in the Orlando area of Florida, both before and after Disney came to town! He went to college at Florida State University and then to medical school at the University of Florida College of Medicine. He served as a pediatric intern and then as a resident in Pediatric Medicine at Children's Hospital of Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. He returned to central Florida to practice in 1983. He and his wife, Katherine, and his son, Billy, relocated to Raleigh in 2000 and they love living in the Leesville area where Billy is in middle school. Dr. Coleman joined North Raleigh Pediatric Group in March of 2010. He enjoys the practice of general pediatrics and has a keen interest in behavioral issues of early childhood. He and his family are avid bicyclists (using active fundraising for Multiple Sclerosis research as a great excuse for 75 mile road rides!) and he enjoys time hiking and fishing with his family.
