Dr. Stephen Hughes Finley, MD

Dr. Finley performed my hip replacement surgery, and I couldn’t have asked for a better surgeon. My recovery was complication free, and if I ever needed to have hip replacement on the other hip, I wouldn’t go to anyone else. Very professional, but easy to talk to and willing to answer all my questions.

Many told me prior to surgery that Dr. B_____ is the best. He might be good. All I can say is that Dr. Finley did my hip and I was on a cane after 5 days and walking outside. I’m climbing up and down stairs 8 days after surgery with little or no pain. I’ve taken no narcotics since home...only 1000mg Extra Strength Tylenol 3X daily. My PT told me today that my recovery is typical of a Dr. Finley patient and that Dr. Finley’s patients usually recover much faster than her other Steadman-Hawkins patients. Dr. Finley got his training working as a fellow under Dr. Hawkins, the clinic’s co-founder. He might also be a little easier to get into as a patient because so many people think the other doctor is good.
