He is personable and respectful, always ensuring any and all questions or concerns are addressed. He is matter-of-fact in his approach which gives you confidence in his know-how and abilities.

Dr. Gates is not only an extremely talented surgeon but also a fantastic human. He was so kind, and reassuring, and didn't push for a surgery that was likely to fail. Instead he gave me non-surgical options to try and we'll revisit in 3 months. I recommend him highly!

Dr. Gates is an extraordinary Dr. with extraordinary bedside manner. He tells you everything about what’s going on with you and listens and addresses your every concern. It’s still early with my post op but in talking to others that had similar procedures and the way I feel, he has done an outstanding job!
