Dr. Stephen A Kottmeier, MD

I met the doctor on the hospital since he agreed to perform surgery on my ankle and knee after an accident. He kept me waiting forover a week then only did surgery on my knee and never performed surgery on my ankle. I am now social security disabled and no longer able to walk. My life and it quality has been cut short as a result of this individual.

Absolute top notch; remarkably skilled and extremely professional physician. Took excellent care of my husband after his accident that resulted in several broken bones that required surgery. Had the utmost confidence that he was in the best hands under Dr. Kottmeier’s talent & direction.

This man put my foot back together back in 2014 when I was on the verge of it being amputated. Sure, my age of 63 and the metal in my foot causes me pain once in awhile, but I still have my foot to feel that pain. Thanks Doc..

I love Dr. Kottmeier, he is the best there is for ortho surgery and I am grateful God put him in my path after I suffered a tri-mal fracture with dislocation. I now have a perfectly rebuilt ankle and I will never forget what he did for me. Never! I can walk!! He is awesome!

I have had 2 meniscus surgeries under the care of Dr. Kottmeier. Both surgeries were quick and painless. I had some discomfort but was up and walking the very next day. I found his bedside manner to be excellent and love his sarcasm. He is not the warm and fuzzy type but he is compassionate and always took the time to answer my questions. His surgical coordinator, Jennifer is excellent also. I always recommend him.

Can't disagree more with the previous reviews. Jennifer, Corinne, and Dr. Kottmeier were all phenomenal

If you want a surgery done by incompetent students instead of a Dr. See Kottmeier..who also has the bedside manner of a wet sponge. Arrogant, nasty and sloppy..will not care if you have pain afterwards..will say its your fault. Or you can see his inept PA Corrine who carries unsterilized tweezers in her pocket to take out stitches.Go elsewhere! And you will be waiting over 2 hours in the waiting room

I THANKK THIS DOCTOR EVERYDAY.HE SAVED MY LEG FROM AMPUTATIOM. THIS WAS 2 1/2 YEARS AGO. I HAVE 5 PLATES AND 12 SCREWS IN MY LEFT LOWER LEG. I CAN WALK AND THIS SEVERELY DAMAGED LEG IS STABILE. WITH S REAL PROBLEM LIKE I HAD WHO CARES HOW LONG THE WAIT TIMR IS. THIS DR. CAN DO THINGS THAT OTHERS CANT. HE IS A GREAT MD

Exactly what all Dr's should be, personable, knowledgeable and thorough. A credit to the profession and to his practice!

His mistake caused me years of pain and disability. As of this point I am in a wheel chair and his firm would not even see me after 2 months after being released from the Hospital- He first sent me to a Nursing Home which I promptly left because he said I could not have any physical therapy performed and I was in a brace that was not designed for my injury
