I knew my health was being compromised by my lifestyle and wanted a doctor who would approach my health and wellness from a holistic perspective. Dr. Reisman did that and I feel so much better in a short period of time. By natural means, healed my dangerous gut issues, gall bladder health, and naturally occurring weight loss. Healed my husband's sphincter muscle in his esophagus, with no more reflux and no more dangerous meds! He listens, he is very knowledgeable of what will help, gentle with drawing blood, gets results!

As soon as I met him he seemed rushed and distracted. Didn't give me time to state my concerns, was rude and condescending. Didn't listen well. Finally, he just stood up and started walking to the door even as I was telling him that I had questions. He said we were out of time, handed me a sheet with the names of some meds he was having a compounding pharmacy make, said "take these and I'll see you in 6 weeks" I asked him what the meds were and told him that I am very sensitive to meds and my PCP has learned to always start me at the lowest dose and move up from there. He paused and then said" I think you can handle it". I noticed on the sheet that he had written " experiment glutin free" I asked him what that meant or if he could give me any written info or diet guidelines and he just said " Google it" and walked out! He left that week to go out of town for 3 weeks and left me with no one to consult with while he was gone (no nurse or other Dr) I ended up having severe problems with… the meds and after 2 wks of what felt like torture with the meds, ended up in the ER. Went to my Gyn and showed her the meds he gsve me and she was appalled, said it was at least 4 times the max amount she would ever prescribe and no wonder I had such a horrible experience. She urged me to report him for negligence and abandonment before he hurts someone else. It was the most awful Dr experience I have ever had.

I believe his knowlege of traditional medicine and alternative treatment options literally saved my life.

When I first saw Dr. Reisman, I was dealing with a very serious illness and since he works in a holistic manner, the fit seemed perfect for me. However, at the end of our patient/doctor relationship, I found that he had injected me (without my knowledge or permission) with an extremely high dosage of a compound necessary for detoxification (even though I had stated adamantly I was opposed to it). Also, during my status as a patient with him, I requested the name of a competent psychiatrist (at the time I was suffering with PTSD although I was unaware of that fact) and was refused. I ended the relationship with a deep feeling of betrayal and distrust and was very fortunate to find a caring and competent therapist who managed to pull me back from the brink of disaster and begin the healing process. In my humble opinion, PTSD is something that Dr. Reisman should have recognized and further, he should have referred me out of his practice to a mental health professional. I would not… return to his practice because I feel very strongly in regard to his inability to diagnose me and do what was in my best interest.

Dr. Reisman and his staff have taken excellent care of me and have given me solid results! I have suffered for almost a decade with chronic insomnia and hair loss (I'm a lady) and had NO help from the medical community in my area - only more "pills and bills". Dr. Reisman and Staff have given me my life back and I am so very THANKFUL!

Great doctor if you want a holoistic doctor. Wish that he took insurance; that is a problem so I limit my visits to him.
