Surgery went well. 100% recovered in 3 weeks. Outstanding! No more back pain. Zero. Dr. Saris listens, answers questions in a way that is easy to understand. Unlike most of the doctors I see today, there is No filling in a form on the computer, No rushing, no fake pleasantries. The best "bedside manner" of any doctor I have visited in 40 years.

My experience was great. I had previous treatment by Gamma Knife. Now I'm following up. My meetings with Dr. Saris have always been thorough and on time. He is honest, compassionate, and frank. Exactly what you need from a physician. I highly recommend him. A great professional.

I saw Dr. Saris for sciatic pain traveling down my right leg. The pain was not too terrible so he advised me to wait it out as the pain should go away. Unfortunately, the pain worsened and I had to have surgery on it. His staff was extremely helpful in setting up the procedure extremely fast and I was operated on within 10 days of meeting Dr. Saris. The procedure went extremely well and Dr. Saris is a godsent. I woke up from the procedure pain free and within a day I was up on my feet and walking without any issues. I can truly say that thanks to Dr. Saris I feel like a new person. I trust him and would recommend him to anyone with back pain.

Excellent office staff. Didn’t wait at all. Dr Saris spent a lot of time going over my problem and explained things clearly. They were not just interested in operating on me. They sent me for conservative treatment and I am feeling so much better. Glad I did not have an operation.

Ian from Falmouth. I was going to go to one of the doctors at Cape Cod Hospital, but my cousin had Dr. Saris years ago and recommended him highly. His office was great. The doctor saw me ahead of time and went over all my imaging studies with me in his private office. We did the surgery up at the Brigham and Women's Hospital and it went great. My back is still a little achy, but the leg pain is gone. I think the nerve damage is gone too. I could not be happier with the result.

Forty years ago, I fell from a ladder which resulted in cervical and lumbar fusions; five years after that, a procedure called a cervical foraminotomy. With the help of a lot of medication and more intestinal fortitude than I knew I had, I managed to continue working through it all until I retired four years ago. I recently started experiencing cervical spasms of a very violent nature, I lost control of my car, climbed the curb and nearly hit a group of kids and it was happening often. I was scared, went to my primary care doctor who sent me to Dr. Saris who proved to be the rudest man I’ve ever met. While reviewing my MRI, he contradicted what I was told in the past. While I cannot fault him for that, it was confusing and I was not allowed to ask a single question or make a single comment; Dr. Saris would repeatedly wave his index finger right in my face, make “shushing” noises and say “let me talk” (no one has done that to me since an ill-tempered nun in the fifth grade!!).… Afterward, without my being able to say a word, he said that the pain I was complaining about was due to the fact that I’m “pushing 70”. Annoying as the age comment was, it was the first part of that statement that made me lose my temper. Dr. Saris would have to be a telepath to know what pain I was experiencing because I never even got to say a single word about why I was there in the first place. I left with far more questions than I entered with and I still have no idea what is causing these violent spasms which caused me to lose control of my car and come close to plowing through a group of kids because I wasn't allowed to say what was wrong. Now I’m afraid to drive anywhere. If you’re suffering from any chronic pain and have new symptoms (and if you’re over 40), I STRONGLY advise you to GO ELSEWHERE!!!!

I wanted to wait 6 months before writing my review to give a full description of my experience. I had been suffering with Trijeminal Neuralgia for 3 years before my Hama knife radiation surgery. I was in remission for most off the first 2 years. The pain would come for a month, then go away for many months. Then just like you read about, there was an sudden onset of pain that was much more intense than it had been before, and it did not let up. I had the take so much Tegretol to get through the days, I felt like a zombie. I found Dr. Saris through a neurologist at the Brigham. The agony I was in just answering questions during our meeting was so painful, it brought me to tears. The pain had changed my life. I stopped doing a lot of the things I used to enjoy, I did not want to be around friends, I did not want to talk or eat, or laugh. Dr. Saris scheduled my surgery within a month of our meeting. 6 months later, I am not only completely pain free, but the numbness that I… had been warned about, became my new normal. Your body adjusts, and you do not feel, talk, eat, etc like you are experiencing any numbness. I am so thankful, my husband is so thankful, and my four children are so thankful to Dr. Saris. He gave me my life back!
