Pompous arrogant, wrong medication

This inconsiderate jerk was my psychiatrist when I was once hospitalized. He came to me one day and said he did not have time to see me. Can you imagine a psychiatrist saying that to a patient when they were sick enough to be in the hospital? No wonder I was highly upset and acted out. He dumped me after that. Then I felt both rejected AND abandoned. Avoid this doctor at all costs. He will make you feel worse about yourself than before you saw him as a patient.

Can you imagine a psychiatrist not seeing his patient on a day when they were hospitalized? Is it a wonder I felt rejected and lost it? Of course, he dumped me after that, further traumatizing me by making me feel rejected AND abandoned. Avoid this doctor at all costs.

Excellent therapist and doctor for senior patients with mental health issues. He didn't try to change or delete anything at my first visit. He asked what was working and gave me that. He asked what was I having troubles with. He then explained what he would recommend and asked me if that was okay. He is the epitome of what a GOOD DOCTOR is

Find any other psychiatrist. This man is condescending, arrogant, and a poor listener. He is not willing to do any type of treatment that does not include drugs. He boasts he has 30 years experience in the industry but has such a closed mind. I chose him because he was covered under our insurance and close by my home. Back to the drawing board. Ugh.

Dr Streitfeld is amazing. I have seen multiple psychiatrists over the past 10 years, been misdiagnosed and perscribed dozens of medications that did not work. Dr Streitfeld took time to listen before making any suggestions. We then made decisions on how to slowly adjust my meds. Now, for the first time in over 15 years, I am stable and healthy. I am so grateful to have found a doctor as kind, caring and knowledgeable as he is.

Since I lost my other Dr. I've been trying to find a new one. He is awful. Gives you a drug test every time you go in there. Not sure if he wants to bill insurance or what. Doesn't listen. Just throws you on meds. Like you're some kind of experiment. Stay away.

Worst doctor I've ever been to. They can't even be bothered to return ANY of the phone messages I leave and this has been the same for MONTHS. You can tell by the way the doctor and staff treat you that you are not cared for or a priority at all. If I could give zero stars I would. NEVER GO TO HIM

Dr. Streitfeld is the worst psychiatrist I have ever been treated by. He lacks any form of human decency and compassion. He makes one feel extremely uncomfortable, his personality is wretched, and there is simply no trust. Not only have I heard his staff bad mouth him behind his back, one of the doctors who left for a better position couldn't stand him either. Can you imagine that. Let it be known that I have never had a complaint about a doctor before in my life. I have been seeing psychiatrists for over 30 years for my depression. However, this clown should not be practicing at all. I am so glad that I finally found another doctor who takes my insurance. The suffering is over.
