Dr. Stephen L. Trokel

I believed that he is well experienced because he did not do any examine on me but simply check my sights are and identify what cause me headache. Then he give me a 'reading glasses' prescription WIOUT asking me what are the 'reading distance' I would like to have. Even I emphasis I need it for computer, when I got the glasses, I can only read when the book/paper is literally 2 in from my nose. I was so upset because I really need something to ease my headache. I regret not looking up for doctors first and letting the receptions to make an appointment for whoever is available first (and it was almost 1.5 month waiting to see any of the doctors).

I can't believe that there are bad comments regarding this doctor. I have seen him 3 or 4 times over the years and I never felt rushed and he was always super nice.

Dr. Stephen Trokel is extremely arrogant, rude and intimidating. This was an awful experience for me. Dr. Trokel does not listen, he told me to shut up when I tried to ask him a question about my case and he has the worst bedside manner I've ever seen in my life. Horrible doctor. Should have license revoked.

Horrific experience. Arrogant and rude. Called my case "tragic" and left the room. Told me he didn't think it was worth saving my left eye. His greeting was 'what do you want?" Awful experience.
