Dr. Stephen Joseph Voto, MD

I was forced to see this Dr, [ I use the term Dr. loosely here] by my employer for an IME EXAM. An exam usually involves hands on the patient. Never happened. I was with him maybe 5 minutes. He said "you look good, you don't appear to be in pain." He is right. My pain management team has my pain well controlled with the regiment I am on. I don't need an employer Hack Dr. like him rubber stamping a form letter saying I don't need my regiment. He is from the Lancaster area and was up in a rented space doing IME exams for the employers. He is nothing but a Dr. the employers can count on to say what they want him to say. To all people who have to see him through the BWC or self insured IME's. You better have a lawyer and a good dr. who is willing to fight for you because this man is not going to help your case in any shape or form. This whole system is sadly broken. Those people who have taken advantage of this system has ruined it for those of us who only ask for what we… are allowed through the BWC injured worker program. I have had to fight this battle for 25 years. I have had 5 back surgeries to repair the damage done to my spine. it is just a sad state of affairs that we are forced to see Dr.'s who could care less about are injuries and our care. BE PREPARED if he is who you are forced to see.

He also went against what all of my doctors have said and that my injury had somehow healed while I’m waiting to have surgery. There was false information and many inconsistencies in his report. Don’t go to him. Request another doctor.

Dr. Voto is the best Orthopaedic surgeon ever. He was so good to me, and my family. My knee was in bad shape when I finally found him and he fixed it then, and I'm hoping he can fix it this time. I tore something again. It was my fault, nothing he did. Hes a wonderful guy, and wonderful doctor...

I was required to see "Dr" Voto in Mansfield, OH as part of my BWC claim. During my examination he asked me a few questions, but never examined my injury. He told me that his report would help me and instead he went against 7 other doctor's reports and said that I was completely healed, when in fact I need surgery. He didn't even get my name right on his report! He also added to his report that I had seen another independent doctor several times, but I have only seen him once. He is clearly in the back pocket of the BWC... he is nothing but a fraud and his report was nonsense and full of false information and inconsistencies! If the BWC wants you to see a doctor make sure it isn't him.

I would give Dr. Voto 10 stars.

Dr Voto is one of the best doctors I have ever worked with. His office staff is also the best staff I have dealt with (and there has been a lot). They go out of their way to make the process smooth!!

I went to Dr. Voto when he was practicing in Logan for a fractured wrist. Great Doctor. Took a great interest in a previous complete shoulder replacement, (not his botch up) and referred me to Dr. Cohen in Chillicothe. So glad that I went to Dr. Voto. I had been in pain for three years before he sent me to Chillicothe.

I have seen Dr. Voto for almost 20 years. He is the best!
