Left his Waldorf MD practice and didn't inform patients why or where. Miss him so much.

Over more than a decade, first as an occasional walk-in patient and then for the past year as a regular, I found Dr. Wiggins to be an exceptional physician in every respect. In this age of impersonal corporate medicine, he still took the time to get to know me as a human being -- my medical history, my individual needs, my specific concerns. He actually listened (far from a given nowadays) and gave detailed, constructive feedback. His examinations were thorough, his diagnoses accurate, and his bedside manner beyond reproach: confident but never arrogant, forthright but always compassionate. He is a superb communicator. Sadly, I am informed he has left the practice he founded decades ago and will no longer be my primary care physician. This is a great loss to me personally, but it is also a loss to healthcare in the region. I guess it's also a loss to Medstar, to whom he sold the practice a couple years ago., although I doubt that realize it.
