I had my breast reduction in may of 2021. Im almost 8 months post op today. The entire process with dr Zuniga and his staff was amazing. Everyone throughout this entire experience was so kind. Every single appointment was great. My appointments had to be rescheduled a few times but we were right in the beginning of the pandemic so I totally understood. The ladies at the front desk always called to keep me in the loop and let me know of my upcoming appointment date. I really appreciated that. I thought I would have to wait a long time for my consultation because of the pandemic but before I knew it my surgery was scheduled faster than I could’ve imagined. Dr. Zuniga listened to everything I had to say. He answered every question and he was also very realistic about my results. I had concerns with possible scarring on African American skin. My healing has been amazing. I feel amazing. My breast look amazing. This was the best decision I could every make for myself and in choosing the… Aesthetic plastic surgery pavilion. Dr. Zuniga is an excellent plastic surgeon and human being! He wants you to look your best possible, and gives very realistic expectations. He’s direct and straightforward. He uses his valuable time to reconstruct breast cancer patients over and over again. Many plastic surgeons choose not to deal with breast cancer reconstruction. This alone says so much about Dr. Zuniga!

When I began my journey of reconstruction after my mastectomy, Dr Zuniga was recommended to me by my surgeon. I am so pleased he was part of my team of five doctors. He was very thorough, straight forward and answered all of my questions. Some people might think his manner is not for them he tells you what you need to know both me and my husband love him. He straight told me that my reconstruction was a process that was not a fast one and to be patient. I can say that he accepted what my insurance paid and I have never received a bill from him. He really does care about his cancer patients. I would recommend him to anyone.

He was very thorough, straight forward and answered all of our questions. We had been warned that some people might find his manner a little brusque, but my husband and I both loved him. Our surgeon said he really cares about cancer patients and even when other plastic surgeons weren't taking referrals because they could make more money on cosmetic procedures, Dr Zuniga wouldn't turn them away....how could he face his daughters if he did. I really appreciate his integrity.

DR Zuniga is a kind,caring,understanding doctor, who truly understands me, I love that his very straightforward and gives me the time to ask many questions. I had a Mastectomy and the only Doctor that would take my Insurance they said was Dr Zuniga. I found out two years later I could go to another Doctor and I am now. I cried every time I left the doctors office he was very mean to me he degraded me, insulted me. If you want a doctor that cares please do not go to him. Dr Zuniga is only about the money he does not care about peoples feelings.

Dr. Zuniga was straight up front from the beginning, during my first consultation he told me that breast reconstruction was not a quick or easy fix and I would need to have a lot of patients. Three "short" years later, Dr. Zuniga is the reason I feel like a "normal, complete" woman again. At 51 years old I enjoy looking at myself in the mirror and his surgial artistry almost makes me forget that I ever had a mastectomy. Most importantly his empathy, compassion and dedication to patient satisfaction has earned my complete respect. He has given me back a very delicate part of my sense of being woman. My breast reconstruction process has been well worth the wait. I would and already have recomended him to other cancer survivors that have crossed my path.
