After visiting other professionals to find out the cause of my hip pain, he was the successful one to realize that it was a back problem> I recommend him as a professional, friendly doctor that listens carefully and researches your condition thoroughly.

As a 72 year old with multiple health issues, and having experienced way to many specialists, I could almost consider myself as an expert at rating doctors!! Dr. Barna is a very professional, 5 star, intelligent, concerned, caring, interacting, and the very best specialist I have had the honor being a patient of!! He took the time to discuss my issues and previous experiences. He then took the time to explain his diagnosis and what options were available medically, economically and potentially the possible results of each. The procedures that Medicare required were discussed, agreed upon, and undertaken. Then a Radiofrequency ablation (rhizotomy) facet joint procedure was performed. He had explained before that it would possibly last close to a year, which it did. Then as allowed the second procedure was done with fantastic results again. The unbearable pain which I endured for so many years is completely gone. I was completely prepared with the information he and his staff suggested… that I bring with me for each visit. His assistant Carlos Guzman has been extremely helpful with every conversation, what an asset to the entire team!

Dr. Barna is an amazing, compassionate doctor with great bed side manner. He takes his time to get to know you and listen to your concerns. I first saw him in 2016 for back pain and continue to see him for my neck and back to this day. His range of knowledge and expertise on different methods and approaches to help you, compare to none. I never thought I'd be out of pain but I am thanks to Dr. Barna! I've seen so many doctors but Florida Orthopedics gave me the correct diagnosis and it's hard to believe but the disabling pain I was in is gone! It's been a month since my nerve ablations and I feel better every day. I couldn't be happier with the results. Dr. Barna is very intelligent and caring and a great doctor!

I Highly recommend Dr. Barna. Not only did Dr. Barna figure out why I was in so much pain, he also got me out of pain! The steroid shots were only effective for a short time so I had the nerve ablation procedure. Waking up the next morning and being out of pain was remarkable and amazing. The procedure itself was comfortable and the outpatient services at Florida Orthopedics are outstanding. To be out of cronic pain is a gift. I am very grateful to Dr. Barna!

Dr. Barna treats me for pain management due to a disc issue. I have had numerous injections. Dr. Barna is not only a good doctor but his bedside manner and professionalism is second to none. His assistant, Carlos, helps to make sure all goes well and you could not be in better hands. He is an excellent doctor.

Dr. Barna went into great detail to explain my initial MRI. He never discounted/disregard my issue and I really appreciated it. His concern led to additional scans of the surrounding area of my moderate to severe pain. A correlating issue between the thoracic and cervical spine was identified. These next few days/weeks will only tell but, I feel comfortable and confident with his approach. His entire office staff (S/N Tampa Offices) have been nothing short of professional and courteous.

Dr. Barna is the BEST! From check in to check out, I had a wonderful experience. The front desk staff was so nice to me and very efficient. It didn’t take long to complete the needed paperwork, and when they realized that there would be a wait, they told me straightaway and offered to reschedule my appointment. I decided to stay, and it turned out not to be as long as I anticipated. Carlos, the Administrative Assistant, put me at ease right away with his professionalism and charm. He, too, was pleasant and helpful. Dr. Barna, though, is the main reason I went to Florida Orthopaedic - Citrus Park. He took care of me in 2016, so when I injured my lower back, I knew he was the doctor I wanted to treat me again. He, too, apologized for the wait and wasted no time in showing me/explaining the MRI, doing an exam, and putting my mind at ease. I can’t say enough good things about my experience or about Dr. Barna. I think he’s the best: kind, compassionate, and honest... and he… made me laugh! I like that in a doctor. If there were more than five stars, he and his staff would get them all. ????????????????????

The results for my husband since the RFA have been amazing. The shoulder pain, headaches, dizziness and double vision have stopped. Would HIGHLY recommend him. Dr Barna is very professional and Very pleasant and informative in regard to his speciality.

The wait time was reasonable, the staff friendly. Dr. Barna was very pleasant and we were pleased with his explanation of my issues as well as of the proposed procedure. He seemed attentive and thorough. Hopeful all works as planned.
