Dr. Steven Eric Becker, MD

My husband and I had our first visit with Dr Becker today, he made us feel at ease since it was the first we were seeing an Ear, Nose and Throat specialist, very explicit, experienced and just wonderful Dr. So glad Dr Becker was recommended to us. An amazing staff too.

Figured out why I had this pain when other doctors did not - cancer. Sent me right over to see another doctor that can do the surgery to help me and a cancer doctor.

Very thorough. Put me at ease.

My first impression when I walked into his office was not the best - it was very busy, children making noise, it looked old and dated. I then waited longer than I would have liked. When he finally saw me he was very direct - nice but not chatty. He told me what he suspected and what the plan was. I had been being treated (unsuccessfuly for about 6 months) for "sore throat and allergies". He suspected I had cancer. I thought this was far fetched - wouldn't my regular doctor have caught this in all my visits?? He wanted to do a biopsy which I agreed to even though I thought it was probably unnecessary. I am glad I did it probably saved my life. It was cancer. I am in treatment know and I am ashamed I was so judgmental of my first impression.

Not only did he misdiagnose my daughter but was very rude. Cared more about the chairs than his patients. He needs to change professions and not work with people. Waiting room is horrible too.

Dr Becker couldn't help me with my ear problems...he was the 4th doctor I've seen in Vegas that couldn't help me with Vertigo or Tinnitus

He manhandled my four year old. He didn't ask my son to do anything. He forced my son's neck to the sides to look into his ears. This man has to have one of the biggest egos ever. He is horrible in every way. I have never seen a doctor treat a child the way I seen him handle my son.

He's really a very rude guy. Rushes through the appt. Doesn't allow patient to explain symptoms or concerns. He should be evaluated by the Board and penalized for his horrible bedside manners and lack of professionalism. He said nothing was wrong with my Child, he was WRONG! We went to another Dr. who DID correctly diagnose my Child. This guy is truly a JOKE! SHAME!

Would recommend to friends and family. took the time I need (am sure it put him behind so would not mind if I have to wait a few extra minutes)

I took my then 15 year old daughter to see Dr. Becker with issues that at the time were not diagnosed. He was extremely rude. I have never been treated in such a manner by any professional. Unfortunately, we had several follow up appointments with him, and his unprofessionalism, and lack of a proper diagnosis continued. Eventually, we were referred to UCLA Medical Center by our pediatrician where the diagnosis was made in 15 minutes. I would strongly encourage anyone reading this to stay clear of this doctor and his office. You are not only wasting your time and money, but will be treated in a manner that is not acceptable.
