Dr. Bigg not only took excellent care of me, but he was firm and didn’t sugar coat anything about my condition. Was excellent in explaining the remedies for treating my illness.

Dr. Biggs was very knowledgeable and has a great bedside manner.

18 years ago I noticed blood in my urine. I found Dr. Bigg through a referral service, and he was immediately available. He was very meticulous, methodical and thorough in his diagnosis which resulted in surgery and subsequently 17 (+) more years of life for me. He is a tell-it-like-it-is Dr. which may appear brusque to some. That's what I liked about him. My care was, and continues to be excellent with never any complications. He and his staff are consummate professionals.

Dr. Bigg was the worst doctor I have ever been to. He was dismissive, rude to me and my wife, ignored my complaints of pain which led me to needing surgery to correct the staph infection in my scrotum I got after he performed my vasectomy. I can safely say I dislike and distrust this man and would not allow him to be involved with my health in any way.

Dr Bigg removed almost 20 kidney stones from me using cystoscopic surgery ,placed 2 stents, and refused to prescribe me pain meds. I had the hospital nurses call and he told them to have me take Motrin. The 3rd call he finally agreed to fill a partial pain pill script and I had to Have my wife drive me 18 miles away to pick it up directly after surgery. He is non empathetic and arrogant, highly non recommended.

I never write reviews, but this needs to be said. I spent an hour looking for Urologists in St. Louis, calling several of them after looking through reviews. Steven Bigg did not have the best reviews from what I saw but I could not find a doctor that could get me in sooner than a month. Bigg was my 9th call I made and the receptionist was very nice. They were the only place that ordered an abdominal x-Ray for me (and on the same day!) and were able to get me in the next morning! This was awesome since my primary doctor told me I needed to go to a urologist immediately. They went above and beyond and showed they genuinanly care about me and solving my problem. Steven Bigg was very easy to talk to and he helped me with my problem. It was a great experience. Showing you actually care about solving your patients problems and going the extra mile goes a long way. Steven even called me personally the day I received my final CT scan and solved my problem for me. It’s just simple things like… this that make a huge difference. Thank you Dr. Bigg!

I've been seeing Dr. Bigg for 8 plus years for chronic kidney stone issue. If you are looking for the best urologist, he's the one. He's no-nonsense and will tell you what you need to hear about your issue, not what you want to hear. He doesn't smile much but his seriousness is about treating your issue.
