I can not more highly about this confident Doctor and his loveable Staff! They go above and beyond to provide the best care for you and your baby!

Well took me years to write this but this doctor is very unprofessional with personal issues and very unprofessional with an help or suggestions. Due to my visits with him I was extremely put off on finding another Obgyn. .His appt. were a nightmare for me and I wouldn’t recommend him ever!

Rude, judgemental guy. Doesn't explain anything about your pregnancy unless you specifically ask and prod. And yet still manages not to answer your questions. Will refuse to fix you and lied about laws on getting fixed.

Very professional. Answered all my questions to the point and doesn't sugar coat it.

This Doctor was very unprofessional. Used profane language while in the office with my husband and I. He made us feel like a big burden. Not impressed.

Rushed, rude no bed side manner. Belittles te patient makes you feel asbf you are a burden and bothering him by coming into the office. Never ever would go to him again or reccomend him to anyone.

Dr Chismar and his staff always make me feel at ease!

I went to Dr. Chismar after my previous doctor had passed away unexpectedly. His staff was nice and the wait wasn't long. It was the part the counts, the actual doctor patient time, that was an awful experience. I pretty much got hurried into a room and told to quickly undress. I was barely up in the bench when he came in, glanced over my chart and rushed through the entire process with a huge amount of indifference as to who I was and if I was comfortable. It was literally speculum in-out, any questions? No? See ya next time, and he was out the door. I'm not looking for some kind of deeply personal, intimate relationship with my OB/GYN, but I felt so violated after he left that I had to stare at the wall and comprehend what had just happened. I didn't see him as I was leaving the office, only the receptionist who informed me of their "No news is good news policy." And I didn't hear from them. It wasn't until 6 or 7 months later that I got a message from the county health… clinic that I had chlamydia! DR.CHISMAR'S OFFICE NEVER EVEN CALLED AND TOLD ME. There was no follow up call from them. I had also started dating someone about 2 months after my appointment (making it about 5months together when I was informed by the health clinic) and was humiliated to have to inform him that he needed to get tested and get antibiotics immediately. Had I known that I had an infection, I could have taken care of it quickly and without spreading it to my partner. I couldn't believe the lack of professionalism that I witnessed and experienced with this doctor. If you are looking for a caring and involved doctor, my recommendation is to go elsewhere. Find someone who actually cares about who you are as a person and a patient, and doesn't look at you as an insurance collection.

I cant stand him. his job is just a job to him he doesnt care about you or you baby.

I was told I couldn't go more than 10 days overdue. I was induced at 40 weeks 1 day. Was only allowed to push for 2 hours before I was told I needed a csection. Had severe complications related to the induction. Doctor has a very high rate of csections.
