Dr. Steven C Demetriou

Feeling at ease from the moment you and your child walk in the door is
an important part of a positive dental experience.
We all realize that dental health is important. Good dental habits
and professional care should begin early and be a regular part
of your child's health care program. Dr. Demetriou provides preventive
care, general dentistry and emergency treatment to children of
all ages.
As a pediatric dentist, Dr. Demetriou knows how to treat his
young patients so they are at ease and comfortable as possible.
He always explains the procedures, equipment and instruments
he uses to minimize your child's anxiety. He will also inform
your child on how to take proper care of his or her teeth with
instructions geared to your child's understanding.
Dr. Demetriou attended Tufts University as an undergraduate student
where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He also received his DMD
degree at Tufts and was a member of OKU, the Dental Honor Society.
In 1984, he received his certificate in Pediatric Dentistry,
…and he has been practicing this specialty in Tewksbury ever since.
He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
He is a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy
of Pediatric Dentistry, and the American Orthodontic Society.
He has also served as president of the Greater Lowell Dental
Society and a chairman of the Special Fluoridation committee
of the Merrimack Valley Dental Society.
Dr. Demetriou is married and has a daughter and two sons.
