Dr. Steven Timothy Dennis II

Never rushes you in and out and very therough!

Dr. Dennis' medical assistant called me back with test results, not requiring me to return unless it was abnormal. He also extends an understanding of what I've found most doctor's do not. I appreciate him and his point of view.

Very good doctor. I first went to see him for a knee problem but ended up switching over to him for my primary care. My previous doctor could never seem to get my blood pressure under control, but since I have started seeing Dr. Dennis my blood pressure has been as good as it has ever been.

Excellent family doctor! I have used him as my primary care physician for the past couple of years. Like an earlier reviewer mentioned, he does occasionally have a student or intern following him around, but I have always found this to be a positive experience, in that a teaching opportunity for the student was an opportunity for me to learn as well. Also, I'm pretty sure the medical school sends him students/interns because he is a good doctor! I have had visits with him which were very short, and other visits with him that were long... regardless, I have always had a positive experience and have always felt like he truly cared for me and my family. I have even connected with him on Facebook where he goes by "DocDennisMD."

The staff is always so nice and efficient. My problem is that the Dr. takes more time educating the interns rather than paying attention to the patient's health. If he didn't have them in the exam room constantly, I may have a better conversation with him about my concerns. I may also have had a better diagnosis. If you as a patient don't get a chance to talk about everything that's going on, how in the world can they diagnose properly? Blood work, u/a sure.It's all on paper. When you get cut off in your conversation with the Doc so he can educate an intern, I don't feel like I'm being heard or taken care of properly.

constant bad attitude from the girls that work on staff. very rude. never follow through with what you need from them. considering leaving this Dr. simply due to the horrible help they have on hand.

This is the third day I have tried to get information I needed for a report. I talked with someone but they did not follow through. Now I can't get a person nor message service to answer the phone!
