I was impressed from the first phone call where Linda directed me to Dr. Hoer who could see me several days earlier than the MD I had requested. Dr. Hoer is the Epitome of a fine family physicians demeanor and 35 years of Orthopedic Surgery experience. Everyone from the front desk to Dr. Hoer was exceptional and he was quite amazing. Excellent knee replacement. After, no one noticed my sodium level was dropping. Nightmare. Doctor in charge of me after Dr. Hoer, and nurses didn't do anything or check on me. Good thing my daughter was there. I went into a seizure. No help came until my daughter screamed in the hall. Doctor in charge never checked my sodium level. Near death before help. No help if my daughter hadn't been there. I am a healthy woman who had a knee replacement and then things went terribly wrong. Without acknowledging what happened to me, Dr. Hoer said I was fine and could go home, in a brief visit to me room. My daughter and friend were stunned to hear his lack of concern . He knew but signed me off anyway. I couldn't walk. I could hardly stand. I had to have a blood transfusion and monitoring I was in after care and PT for many days. Shocking. Only God saved me and had my daughter with me at what would have been the end of my life. No help or anymore visits from Dr. Hoer. I wouldn't return to him for… any more office visits after that. I thank God that I'm alive.

I broke my ankle and Dr. hoer was the on call surgeon. I had no insurance, but he treated me no differently and i received the best quality care and after-care totally exceeding my expectations. His office personell are courteous and kind from the front desk clerk to the x-ray techs to the nurses. I always left his office smiling and with the knowledge that I was receiving great care for my broken ankle. Best Dr. out there! If you're researching look no further! Dr. Hoer is awesome, along with his staff who went above and beyond for me in my care and regarding my financial situation.

After suffering shoulder pain for over twenty years I came to the right doctor. Dr. Hoer has given me a new lease on life. He fixed one shoulder six years ago and recently did the same to my other shoulder. Not only is he a good caring doctor, he is a good person also.
