My wife was not happy with this visit. She said Dr. Lawrence kept interrupting and talking over her. When she asked him to explain something he said impatiently "As I said...." although he hadn't said. He prescribed a brace but didn't write the prescription, and she left without it. She phoned later and the office said they would fax it to the orthotist. When she arrived for the appointment, the orthotist's office hadn't received it. When she called Dr. Lawrence's office she was told they couldn't refax the prescription until they spoke with the doctor. So she had to leave and reschedule the appointment. Not a good experience.

Dr. Lawrence performed foot surgery on me at the UK Medical Center, removing plate and screws from a prior injury (prior foot surgery was performed by another orthopedic surgeon, four years ago). Dr. Lawrence's passion for orthopedic care and concern for his patients is outstanding. He treats the whole person, not just feet and ankles. He spent unlimited time with me explaining surgery and available options, while listening and addressing all concerns that I had. During my time in the waiting room, patients had nothing less than positive comments regarding their surgical experience with Dr. Lawrence, rating him as the best of the best. I am clinic administrator of two healthcare clinics, aware that wait times can be lengthy, but Dr. Lawrence does not limit time spent with patients to rush patients through his clinic. I have utmost respect for prioritizing his patients needs. My overall experience and results has been outstanding. I highly recommend Dr. Lawrence to anyone… needing any type foot surgery. He is truly the best of the best in his specialty.

Dr. Lawrence has been my orthopedic physician for many years, and I have the utmost confidence in him. Not only is he a very thorough physician, he also impresses me as a very caring human being. I recommend him at every opportunity. UK is fortunate to have him and his students will greatly benefit by having him as an instructor.

I had a shattered foot, and he took his time to explain what issues I would have. A few years down the road I had spurs and he removed them, and even found a loose bone chipped off. I cannot thank him enough as I am not in pain anymore. If I have any more issues with my foot I will sure go to him.

dr. lawerence is a bad surgeon and messed up two surgeries on me....I would never let him touch me again he caused damage to me and I would never let him touch me again with anything even 10 feet away and he does not care about his patients
