I am a new patient of Dr. Reece. I was pleasantly surprised at the professionalism of all staff from start to finish. My xrays were taken and Dr. Reece came right in and examined me, asked questions and answered all questions that I had. I would recommend his services to new patients.

Dr. Reece made me feel validated with my hip pain and has given me new hope for getting back to competitive sports. After equivocating between taking breaks from running/tennis and returning to it with horrible hip pain, I had given up on the prospect of getting back to my competitive running and tennis days. However after experiencing chronic pain with moments of severe pain, I finally decided to look up a Sports Medicine doctor and found Dr. Reece. During my initial visit, he made me feel heard and promptly began doing a series of tests with an x-ray. He was very clear with what the cause could be and what the next steps were to resolve this. I was set up quickly for more imaging and after visiting with Dr. Reece again, it was determined that surgery would be necessary, as I had an impingement and labral tear. He explained things very transparently and gave me plenty of opportunities to ask questions as needed, letting me know that someone as active and young as I can get back to… exercising again. I was so appreciative of his tone, attitude, and not speaking to me like an idiot. Best of all, he recognized that I was approaching the reset of my deductible and without skipping a beat said that he was going to "pump the gas" on getting me set up with the next steps. I have no doubt that Dr. Reece and the team at OrthoVA will make sure that I am back to my old self as soon as possible and would highly recommend him to anyone seeking a sports medicine doctor.
