Dr. Steven Allen Reid, MD

He did a micrdisctomy on me and didn’t trim enough off the disc. I complained he said “ we will do a MRI with contrast I’ll prove it’s not the same disc .. we did he was wrong .. his attitude I swore I trimmed enough off sorry about that .. go to pain clinic now

Dr. Reid seems to have a reoccurring problem in surgery he doesn’t pay attention and doesn’t trim off enough of the disc during a microdiscony. Dr. Reid also did not believe that those same disc were on the nerve despite me telling him. He told me it was impossible a MRI with contrast revealed they were his attitude was sorry about your luck go to a pill mill at age 37 I was done. I have a sleepIng in a recliner for over 17 years he just is unprofessional and incompetent I consider that being very generous for him. He’s likable but incompetent. I suffer to this day. I asked him about him going back in and trimming off more of the desk he said there is scar tissue and was not interested in helping me with my pain or correcting his mistake. I hope he gets a better job at McDonald’s where he belongs.

Good communication, conservative treatment, kind and has a sense of humor.

RUN! Don't walk to a different doctor! Dr. Reid is the most unprofessional doctor I have EVER encountered. During my exam he answered his cell phone to discuss his drunken family member's lost purse in the exam room while I waited. After he finally got off of the phone, he briefly examed me and then proceeded contradict my GP's diagnosis and MRI results. I felt like he blow off my pain and concerns. All to the tune of $270! Please, do your self a favor and find another doctor.

I have no problem with Dr. Reid. hIS STAFF IS LESS THAN EFFICIENT. Do not depend on them to follow through with referrals in a timely manner.

Dr Reid is a nice guy. He operated on my back and the pain never left. I told him the disc he operated on was still on the nerve. He said"thats impossible" He didnt believe me. I went and had a new MRI done showing that to which he said"I thought I trimmed enough off". I ask what to do next and all he seemed to offer was go to a "pill mill". I worse off now than before. I have been sleeping in a recliner for over 5 years now every night..Thanks Dr Reid...

I was working with physicians when I needed spinal surgery, I asked them "who would you see if you needed a neurosurgeon". Hands down they said Dr. Reid. He has performed 3 surgeries, 2 on my spine and I can atest to his caring, but above that his intelligence and in the forefront in his field. My son recently needed spinal surgery and after a disappointing experience in Jacksonville, saw Dr. Reid at my recommendation. He woke up from his surgery pain free for the first time in 6 months. I would travel from any place I live to see this Dr. He is the very best you can pick.

I was referred to Dr. Reid by physicians I worked with. He is the very best. I have been a patient for 10 years now, a veteran of 2 spinal surgeries. His treatment and bedside manner are superb. He is vey thorough and calming in times of anxiety. I cannot recommend him highly enough
