Dr. Steven S Sameshima, MD

Was recommended to see Dr Sameshima for oriental eyes but after Bleph surgery, he made one eye bigger than the other which is very noticeable plus out of shape Still have to wear sunglasses all the time and cannot go out at night I look like a goon, monster He said don’t worry I have been doing this for 30 years If you don’t want to look like a goon and monster then I recommend you seeing someone else Do your research and just don’t take another’s Doctor recommendation Went to many consultations and will cost be at least $25,000 to repair what he did to me

I used to see Dr. Sameshima when I was young with glaucoma. After job change my insurance changed and couldn't see him. My cataract got so bad I wanted no other doc to perform any surgery but Dr. Sameshima. The post op condition is great and blind to full sight again! Wouldn't see no other ophthalmologist other than Dr. Sameshima. He also has a great office staff!

The doctor is personable and explains everything thoroughly. Would recommend him to others.

Good doctor, very smart and caring about his patients. I had an emergency once with a scratched cornea and even though it was a holiday he came in to see me. Yes there is a bit of a wait for his normal appointments but that's pretty typical of any doctors offices. I got referred to him by many of my friends who are all pleased with Dr's conduct, treatment and professionalism. I am pretty shocked by the review below me, Whoever wrote it probably doesn't have very good communication skills & didn't follow up. It could have very well been an honest mistake. My experiences have been entirely positive.
