Dr. Steven Struhl, MD

This doctor diagnosed my torn rotator cuff with a rushed in-office procedure to insert a camera in my shoulder. Over a week later I called to complain of extreme pain and was told to take 800mg of Advil and come back after 6 weeks of PT. I called twice more to say pain was so extreme. I ended up in the hospital with severe sepsis in my shoulder - surgery to clean out the infection, months of IV and oral antibiotics and PT. Non-responsive and arrogant.

Dr Struhl operated on both my knees. And from the moment I woke up I said to him that I was in pain, one year later and the pain is unbearable at times, Dr Struhl’s standard response, it’s not from anything I did. He’s very pleasant, but does not hear you. His staff is wonderful. But I would trade anything just to wake up and be able to walk without pain.

dr gave me shots in my hand &arms &for over 2 weeks i was wobbling like a drunk or on a ship I warned him that i am not used to meds He ignored me i wrote to ethics & behavior board, bd of health Beware of this dr, i hope no one else is afflicted by him i visited 2 drs when i was in worse shape after he od'd me!!

Terrible experience with this doctor. I'm a woman who was having pain with my shoulder and he made misogynistic assumptions about other parts of my life that had nothing to do with my shoulder. He ordered an MRI which his office staff said would take a week to get authorization from my insurance company - turns out it took two because his office staff delayed putting the request in for a week. When I asked for something for the pain, his assistant said he only gives something after surgery (I can't take NSAID's) but promised to ask nevertheless and get back to me, which she didn't. Finally did the MRI at a place 1/2 hour from his office - he uses only one place - that was six days ago. He called me today and I missed the call, so I called him back within an hour early this afternoon. His staff said he was with a patient and would call me back in about 20 minutes. He never called me back. So now its Thanksgiving weekend. Need I say more?

Best Dr ever love Dr struhl

As I type this testimonial I'm recovering from and injury which occurred two years ago. I ruptured my ACL and tore cartilage in my knee. I waited so long because I was nervous about letting anyone other than Dr. Struhl to take care of me. Dr. Struhl performed surgery on me 15 years I'd torn meniscus in my knee stemming from a car accident. Dr. Struhl's work was neat, clean and I was back on my feet rather quickly, never had a problem in that area again. Eventually I located paper work from prior, contacted his office, and the procedure was performed for my previous injuries 11/ 2015. Dr. Struhl is cosmetically sensitive therefore, I'll be free from ugly, visible scars when totally healed just as before. His work is impeccable, he and his staff are genuinely concerned with their patients before, during, and after the procedure. I highly recommend Dr. Struhl to any/ everyone in need of an orthopedic surgeon.

It's always a pleasure to deal with the staff. Ive been to his office a couple of times due to an accident and then re-injuring the same location.The wait time is just like any other doctors office 15-30 including once you are in the room. Its a relaxing and fun experience talking with Dr. Struhl who at times will throw in a couple of jokes to keep the atmosphere calm.

Best doc & staff ever!

Dr. Struhl repaired my right ACL with a hamstring autograft a little over a year ago. He and his staff are wonderful. His care before, during, and after my surgery were first class. He was totally accessible when I had any concerns. My recovery has been better than I could have hoped for! I have returned to college athletics (I am a former Division I athlete) at the age of 30 and have thrown as far or farther this year than I did at the age of 21! I am ecstatic with my ability train and perform at such a high level, which could not be possible without Dr. Struhl's care. Some of my bests from this year: Back squat - 300lb Power clean - 87.5kg Discus throw - 160'9" Hammer throw - 170'4" Shot put - 46'7" Weight throw - 59'7"
