Dr Waskow used a Hoffman device to radically improve my husband’s recovery 44 yrs ago. My husband is now 74yo and going strong. Dr Waskow is the best!

Dr. Waskow was unprofessional on the morning of my surgery, he was rude and dismissive with the center's staff. He acted in an agitated manner towards my wife, I almost got up and walked out. Turns out, I should have. The carpal tunnel surgery he performed looked like his assistant (or the janitor) did it. Almost a 2" incision... I would never trust this man again.

My name is Ray Z... I had a Total Right Knee Replacement On Jan.22 2018 . My knee was bone on bone & seemed to be in constant pain . Everyone at Davita treated me Great . The Surgery went Perfect . NO PROBLEMS. Dr. Waskow took his time with me ,answered all my questions ,Put Me At Ease.. Very pleased with my Outcome. Still doing rehab WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Dr. Waskow performed a total left hip replacement on me July 2016. Not only is he the most arrogant physician I have ever seen, my left leg is now 3/8" shorter than the right. Because of this discrepancy in leg length and the nerve damage he inflicted upon me (which is surgical error) I now have excruciating sciatic nerve pain in my left leg/buttocks area. I have a lift in my left shoe but still have to use a cane to walk. There is so much more I could write about his lack of concern, non-existent explanation of the surgical procedure and an arrogance I have never experienced with a physician before. If you are considering this man as your surgeon, please find someone else. There is a reason he has received so many negative reviews, I wish I had read about him before my surgery.

Had meniscus knee surgery swelled up immediately had it drained twice then ended up with Septic infection in my knee his answer was this is a mystery knee never a straight answer very arrogant

The minute I mentioned Medicaid, he was a horribly rude jerk. He did a small "physical exam" which didn't get to the problem at all. He also said he doesn't "go off MRI's" I was very appalled at how he treated me. Like I said, offering no physical exam other than a bend of the knee smh Glad I got a second opinion, and the new doctor explained why some doctors won't do surgery on Medicaid patients and that it is EXTREMELY OBVIOUS by the MRI and the physical exam that I have a severe meniscus tear, requiring surgery next week. My new doctor said he should treat patients as people.

In 2009, Dr. Waskow did a total knee replacement on me. Unfortunately, I still have pain. I know that's not Dr. Waskow's fault, but he doesn't seem to be interested in finding the cause of my pain, other than to say that the 'hardware' looks fine on x-ray. In that sense, I'm not a 100% satisfied patient. I feel a surgeon should not be satisfied until the patient is-IF SATISFACTION CAN BE HAD- I may need to live with the pain; but I think he ought to address my concerns at the very least.

Dr. Steven Waskow completed a total knee replacement in 2009; left hip replacement in 2011; and right hip replacement in 2012 on me, of which all of my surgeries were major successes. Dr Waskow is exceptionally carrying and extremely talented as a surgeon specializing in orthopedic. I have no hesitation with recommending him to anyone who is dealing with total hip and/or knee replacements issues. He has provided me with the utmost of outstanding care and service and his reputation for being one of the best orthopedic surgeons in the Colorado Springs area is undeniable. I am extremely and sincerely grateful for his assistance with helping me to walk again and to regain full mobility to enjoy my life to the fullest.
