Dr. Steven Alan Wool, MD

dr. wool is a very bright physician who at times can provide excellent care. unfortunately he seems to have some personal insecurities which interfere with good care on a regular basis.

Dr. Wool was our doctor for 19 years. My husband saw him last July for vertigo accompanied by nausea, blurred vision, and imbalance. Without administering any further tests like an MRI, Wool diagnosed BPPV and gave him some exercises to do if it recurred. My husband rarely goes to the doctor unless something is seriously wrong with him. Wool didn't pay attention (or didn't know) that my husband's symptoms were identical to that of someone who has had a TIA of the cerebellum. Wool's failure to diagnose his symptoms correctly causes my husband to have a severe cerebellar stroke two weeks later. Wool should have realized that, with my husband's history of high cholesterol and a family history of atherosclerosis that his "vertigo" was not BPPV at all. Wool has too many patients for his so-called concierge service and should retire before he causes more damage to his patients.

I been a patient of Dr. Wool since 1986, and he's the most caring, thorough, knowledgeable doctor I've ever known. He treats his patients with respect, empathy and kindness. I highly recommend Dr. Wool!

In his concierge ($1,500 per year)practice contract he has an Arbitration clause=not so caring to his patients.

I cannot say enough about Dr. Wool. He is more than a doctor. He is a brilliant, kind, caring and gentle individual.

This physician has changed his practice to a "concierge" service as of September, 2010. Now known as Personalized Health Care of Arizona.

Dr. Wool is a wonderful dr. I have been going to him for a long time. He is kind, helpful and will go out of his way to help you - even with other drs. I once had a terrible problem with a specialist and he literally came to my rescue. He is a dr. of the old school.

A more caring doctor would be hard to find...His knowlegde of medicine old and new is above reproach...Whatever is told to Dr Wool is cemented within his mind, never to be forgotten.A Memory like no one I've ever known..We've been his patients for over 23 years and hope never to change.

Dr. Wool is informed and dedicated to patient care. He has an excellent bedside manner.
