Dr. Steven Robert Young, MD

Dr. Young has been our family eye Dr. for over 25 years! He is also an eye surgeon, and he repaired a serious problem on our young son's eyes, and our son is now a grown man, with excellent eyes and vision! We have depended on Dr. Young for all our family eye care, and yearly vision exams. Dr. Young is a dedicated professional, and we trust our eyes and vision in his care completely! We have always gotten the attention and expertise that we need, from Dr. Young and his staff. We are very lucky to have him here in Logan ~Thank you Dr. Young!

the prescription was possibly written down incorrectly, but was easily corrected with a phone call. Delayed me getting contact lenses. Took a while to get the prescription mailed out.

As a one-time patient to Dr Young, I will not be going back. While the visit with the Doctor was short lived, I feel like his answers to my questions were not answers at all, but more of a generic pre- written statement. He clearly has a knack for the elderly, however. He spend twice as much time with two patients before me (although my appointment was scheduled before theirs), and was kind a courteous to them both, including walking them back to their respective spouses. His receptionist on the other hand, was an over worked, unappreciated hag. I handed her my flex spending card to pay my co-pay and she rolled her eyes at me as if to say 'idiot'. Apparently they only accept cash or check. When I informed her that I had neither, she responded with 'well you can either find another doctor, or you can pay it when I bill you'. Clearly this woman has forgotten the meaning of Customer Service in her 200 plus years on earth. After I received a bill, I called the office to see if… I could pay online. Again, her answer was 'cash or check only'. I replied back with, 'that's unfortunate, alright thank you'. What did I hear.....A dial tone!! Not only will I NOT be referring this Doctor to anyone else, I will also NOT be kind in any conversation about him or his staff.
