Dr. Stuart Ross Farber, MD

I have been his patient for 20 years. He's disappeared! No phone call. No emails. No letters. No communication. NOTHING! How can he treat his patients this way. I have no way of contacting him to get my medical records. His wife, Sylvia, who is the office manager should have let all of his patients know that he retired (or whatever) and would stop his practice. Looking him up, it says his office is permanently closed. I went to his old office and there is no sign. No one knows what happened. According to Florida law, I have access to my medical records for as long as the healthcare provider or facility maintains them, and they are required to keep them for at least 5 years, but are encouraged to keep them for 7 years due to potential malpractice lawsuits. How do I get in contact with him when no one knows what happened?

First waited an hour before the doctor even showed up to the office. The office is nasty, and dirty. Very sarcastic and thinks he’s a comedian instead of dr. He is nasty, long unkept beard messy hair literally looks like he just crawled out of bed. No privacy! needed to take my arm out of sweatshirt and he never even closed the door it was wide open. Other patients walking by as I was not covered on that side of my body. I have never seen such an unprofessional Dr in my whole life and trust me I’ve been to many. I will tell my primary dr that she needs to stop sending patients there. So disgusted when I left there!

My 89 year old mother had an appointment; however, because I had a difference of opinion, he literally escorted us out of his office & threw the papers at me.

Horrible doctor you are!!!! How could you not know what to do with a patient that has a NEUROLOGICAL CONDITION??!!

Rude, unprofessional. Shows no consideration for patients. Dirty office. No confidentiality nor privacy. Does not listen to your explanation of systems. Treats you as if you are stupid. He lacks knowledge.

After getting the running around from my primary Doctor and the referred Neurologist not having any appointments available until 2 (two!!) months from the time we called we "stumbled" on Dr. Farber. We walked in on Tuesday afternoon and 2 weeks later blood tests, MRI & Spinal tap were all done and I finally have a diagnosis. Dr. Farber is old school and makes a lot of jokes but at the end of the day he is one of the greatest doctors out there! Not only did he call in favors from other doctors to get the tests done ASAP but he personally called to make sure the spinal tap went well. So lucky we found him!

I waited over an hour online to see another comment online saying the office only accepts cash and personal checks. The refused to take my flex spending credit card but this was never mentioned at time of scheduling or check in. I'm sure they wouldn't have told me until after I was seen had I not asked. The office was cramped, dirty and had no privacy. The doctor spoke loudly with doors wide open so everyone knew everyone medical details. He ate lunch while seeing patients and yelled rudely at patients and staff. Staff gave no information. The doctor's wife appeared to be the office manager. She acted put out when I came to ask about appointment time and the payment policy. The offered to give me a receipt for cash payment to submit to my flex spending but said they do not run cards.

This guy is a joke.

Dr. Farber was able to diagnose me after 2 visits.
