Dr. Caplan is Good - Excellant. However, his staff is from Bad - Ugly.

He saved my life and I’m sure as he saved many of of others so there fore his job is well deserved 5 stars

The examination, diagnosis and treatment recommendations could't have taken more than five minutes. I am satisfied, primarily because I knew what he was talking about and understand the MRI and what he was seeing. I am assuming Dr. Kaplan speaks to his patients based on what information he believes they can consume and how they can consume it. He was bright, energetic, confident and youthful. I had no reason not to trust him. I only hope he spends more time with people who may not follow along as closely as I was able to do. From front to back, his staff was very bright and engaging. There was one person who shouted my name across the expansive waiting area when it was my turn to be seen. I didn't know where the voice was coming from and the encounter was somewhat out of place and confusing. (It didn't fit into the rest of the operation.) Other than that, great experience.

I felt very comfortable with Dr. Kaplan from my first visit. Most of the Doctors I saw in the 13 years prior to surgery had little or no knowledge of Pseudo Tumor Cerebri, (my first diagnosis) nor Arnold Chiari Malformation (my second diagnosis by the best Neuro Opthamologist Dr.Jane Chan). Dr. Kaplan not only knew all about it but could articulate to me what was going on and what he would do to resolve the issues. I had that surgery in late 2007 and to this day I have had no additional medical problems in that area. Not all of my nerve damage in my arm repaired itself but I can still work and do activities that I want but only two games of bowling then they are all gutter balls. I recommend him to others when they are seeking a surgeon. But I also advise others to make sure you feel comfortable with the person who will touch your brain or nerves. JW

Great Doctor, Fastest recovery the surgerical Wing had ever seen. Dudes top Notch period id go as far as to say top 5 in world for neuro.

I've been sitting in this office for TWO hours now waiting to be seen all the talk I hear outside the door is "I don't know why their scheduled, I don't know who is next." Basically this has been a clown show since I walked in the door and this is my very first visit. I'm not sure I even want this guy doing surgery on my back know since he can't even seem to keep appointments on schedule or know what I'd going on in his own office.

God bless Dr. Kaplan and his PA Ryan Simmons for such an excellent job . They did a spinal fusion on my neck and the result was miraculous .Got my life back and couldn't ask for more . Definitely will see them again .
