Dr. Stuart Allan Kittay, MD

I went to him and when I walked in was greeted by a rude receptionist then when I saw the doctor he was so old and shaky that he couldn’t even get a sample of my nail because he could barley hold the utensils he then proceeded to stab my finger and yell at me when I pulled away in tears he is too old to give the kind of care that is expected

I've seen Dr. Kittay on and off for various skin problems for many years. I don't understand some of these bad comments. My wait time was so short I couldn't finish the article I was reading in New Yorker magazine that I'd picked up. His staff was very friendly. (Some of you might be amazed at how many smiles you get back when you smile first.) The doctor is very knowledgable. It never takes him long with all his experience to make a diagnosis and a then plan for treatment. And the treatment works. A little quirky at times but I get amused by that. He's quite compassionate too when you really need it. And his staff seems very comfortable around him. The fact that he takes insurance that others don't is in itself testament to his compassion.

I read a lot of negative reviews, but my experience was good. This doctor is one of the few who accepts husky insidamce so he gets all of us. As a group we might be tough? I don’t know ... I was friendly and he was also friendly. He checked a couple of spots o thought maybe looked not right and wrote me a prescription. He was very good about explaining as he went along, I will go back. Thanks, doc!

When I arrived Dr. Kittay was verbally abusing his receptionists to the point where myself and another patron felt very uncomfortable in the waiting room. Which should of been my cue to leave. The Doctor was very aggressive to the point he ripped the paper gown I was wearing. He was blunt, rude and mean. No doctor should act or treat patients the way he treated me. When I asked for the Nurse to be present he rudely replied “I will be waiting forever” which then he stormed out to get her. He really should not be a doctor or his practice revoked. I feel so disgusted after leaving there. I feel no better about my condition since leaving. To anyone thinking of going here..... DON’T...just DON’T

This doctor couldn’t even care about treating you or listening to what you have to say, all this creep cares about is “soning” someone with an hour drive long to him with a broken neck. He’s so awful that I honestly suspect he went into dermatology cause he’s a pedofile.

Waited OVER A MONTH for "after school" appt. Parking is annoying. Walked in, receptionist was behind closed glass, didn't acknowledge us, but I signed in on sheet. Waited OVER an hour and when I asked, she said she never "saw" us (?) There was no referral, and it was now "too late" to call anyone (after 530pm). She offered us an appt at 9:30am. I expressed my angst and she was unprofessional, rude and should NOT be at the front desk, anywhere. We waited another 10 mins and LEFT!

I was due for a yearly body scan, at least that has always been the case when I lived in the south even though Dr. Kittay thought other by questioning me as to why my previous doctors did so. .Not only did he barge in the room, no knock, he didn't even have the courtesy of introducing himself or say hi. He went straight to my files against the wall. He abruptly left at one point. Had me read a pamphlet on how to care for a procedure that hadn't even been mentioned or performed yet. Never have I had any doctor have me stand up off the patient table and remove gown completely, it has always been on the table while gown covering certain areas as they check. There is no way he looked at my suspicious freckles, trust me, I have a ton. He was cold, quick, & didn't listen. His treatment for my wart was painful and continued w/out hesitation when I clearly could not handle it. I left in tears, literally! First review I've ever given for a doctor.

I don't understand all the negative comments on Dr. Kittay. I visited him today and had an extremely positive experience. We went over what was the main concern, he addressed it, and gave me the correct diagnosis.

He worked roughly on my face, and I would get quite some blood from the extraction spots, tears from the pain, and nearly fainted twice because of the pain. He insisted on continuing to do this each time I went there, until I finally stopped and decided to see another dermatologist. To this day, the extractions by Dr. Kittay have left many acne SCARS on my forehead, where he performed them. Otherwise, rude, cold, did not listen to patients. Office staff was equally rude and unhelpful. My mom and sister, who were also his patients had an equally unsatisfactory experience with him.

I got there and was rudely ignored by the receptionist. I finally got her attention and told her my name, Insurance etc. I ended up wait 45 minutes to see this doctor, and boy was it a waste of my time. I told him my problem and he left returning with a bunch of papers on some skin disease, which didn't even match my problem. He went on and on about one little thing and didn't even listen to my problems or concerns. He left the room like 5 times and barely returned. He prescribed me a medication for the skin disease I didn't have along with a cream. He told me that use it and then see if it does anything. It was the worst experience I ever had with the doctor. I will not be going back. Also the office waiting room had creepy dolls in it which freaked me out.
