He fought along side me with my insurance for almost 8 years to get me a breast reduction due to major back issues and many back surgeries and neck surgeries! He never gave up on me! Dr. Shastri is a compassionate, thorough surgeon. He is well regarded by medical staff that work with him as well as medical professionals whom have had procedures done by him. I am glad I listened to those around me whom have had first hand experience with him or have worked alongside him. He takes his time and is a perfectionist with his work. I highly recommend him.

From positive to negative, not everyone is happy with results of surgery. After a double mastectomy and reconstruction, I am one who is not happy with the implants. I contacted the company and said I am familiar with what they should look like. What was supposed to be a teardrop silhouette according to the dr. looks more like a couple of partially filled baggies under the surface. Dr. Shastri's solution..wear a push-up bra to take out the unsightly wrinkles. They should not have been put in and I will not go back to him.

Awesome doctor. I went to him for reconstruction after a double mastectomy. He took his time and explained everything to me. However, due to several infections, which he addressed immediately, I choose not to reconstruct. He was very understanding. I would recommend him.

I have had many cosmetic surgeries from Dr. Shastri and I look as natural as the first time I walked in his door - only younger and better! You never have to worry about having a surgery that looks like you had surgery!

I had a good experience with my breast surgeon but then had to deal with this doctor. I wish that I would have gone with my gut feeling that he really did not care about my reconstruction on my first visit. From his rude office staff, to his arrogant attitude regarding my complaints of pain after surgery was enough to think that I was experiencing a bad joke. His lackadaisical attitude led to a nasty infection causing extra surgeries due to gangrene in my implant. He still denied that I should be experiencing any pain from this!! There are much better plastic surgeons,so please research your options prior to making a decision. Finally, go with your gut feeling and stay away from this doctor, I wish I did!
