Dr. Sujatha Borra, Neurologist Inspite of CVS pharmacy wanting to overcharge us $42 for a prescription adjustment; the doctor and staff painstakingly made every effort to make us feel comfortable in a most sociable manner. Dr. Sujatha Borra and staff are indeed competent professionals in all areas; thank you all involved!

Seriously questioned her professionalism and compassion. I had the first appointment of the day and she was over an hour and a half late. No explanation. Do not see this doctor, there are so many better qualified ones in the Tampa area.

After waiting over an hour to see the doctor I was called into a room by the nurse. As I waited for the doctor I heard her discussion with another patient in the room next to mine. Not only was it awkward to hear about a strangers medical conditions but she was very abrupt and rude with this man that apparently has Parkinson's. I then was taken into another room where the doctor was waiting, she told me that for today's appt she would only do a consult, I explained to her that I was referred for a EMG, that is when she went on a rant about how she is tired of these PCPs refer patients out for an EMG and then not know what to do with the results. She went on about how these doctors cause so much extra work for her because then these patients come back to her so that she can explain the results and it apparently is wasting her time. I explained that was referred by a surgeon not a PCP which seemed to irritate her further but agreed to do the EMG. I should have ran at that point and… I regret that I didn't. This is my 3rd EMG so I am familiar with the procedure. Her equipment is inferior and she is a joke. She performed the test under 10 minutes, it usually takes 20-30 for both arms. It was the most painful EMG as she blew through it as quickly as possible. She never even asked about medical questions pertaining to the EMG like every other reputable neurologist. When I asked her about this she said that it does not matter. As walked out, there were literally about 14 people in the waiting room, some sitting some standing waiting to be seen by this brute. I gladly drove away from that place and as I am sitting at a red light on SR 56, I notice a huge purple hard lump on my forearm! Apparently she stuck one of those needles into my VEIN and pumped some electricity into it causing a thrombophlebitis! Yes folks, an EMG was performed on my vein! I wish I can post a pic of how disgusting this thing is! NO EXCUSE Sujatha Borra! That is just sloppy and careless. If you don't have the capacity to treat people with respect, dignity and empathy then go away and work at a lab where compassion is optional. It is obvious that you pack in as many people into your waiting room so that you can make as much money as you can while you process people like they are no more than a piece of meat. Shame on you.

My dad remains under her care at Advent Hospital. We took him in with stroke like symptoms. All tests came back negative for stroke. Dr. Borra did not give up knowing that there were obvious symtoms there and she was determained to fine out and give us answers. After a couple of weeks we have some answers and we moved forward with the procedure that was recommended and already see some improvement. We remain hopeful. We thank her for listening to us and never making her visits to my dads room rushed. Dr. Borra would leave when she had answered all of our questions. The Guevara Fam.

I first met Dr. Borra while hospitalized at Florida Hospital main campus in Tampa, FL. I have to say that I feel I am lucky and privileged to have her as a healthcare provider. Since then I have had follow up care for a little over a year outside of the hospital and it has been phenomenal. She is a provider who doesn't believe in band-aiding issues but test and trials to get to the root of the issues so they can properly be treated. Her bedside manner matches the professionalism of her and her staff. All are efficient, courteous, personable and soothing to each patient's needs. I am glad to have her as one of my main health care providers and I am confident while I'm in her care I will recover from the illness which I suffered. I highly recommend her.

Excellent competent exam. Overall loved the entire experience.

She's very up beat and overly concerned like a 2nd Mom when I go to hospital and I'm admitted I open my eyes and she's there making sure I haven't had another stroke or seizure she's awesome to me my family greatly appreciates her compassion and concern towards me anything I need she addresses it right then and there so thank u deeply Dr Bora from the Carter family

Dr. Borra has always taken the time with us to explain where we are and what can be done about the condition. The office staff are excellent and have been very helpful when any change needed to be made. Sometimes the wait is a little long for the appointment.

After scheduling an appointment weeks ago, I confirmed my insurance information over the phone. Upon arrival, 15 minutes before my scheduled appointment, as instructed, the office was not even open. When they finally opened, I was told my insurance was taken there. Horrible experience. A waste of my time and resources. Very unprofessional for a Dr.'s office.

Go ANYWHERE else!!!!
