Extremely arrogant

Dr. Khandhar displayed an astonishing arrogance in his interactions with me, interrupted my response to his questions and literally answered for me, refused to listen to my description of my own neurological symptoms and decided peremptorily that my (agonizing, painful, debilitating) condition was psychosomatic. His idea of patient care is apparently to browbeat the patient until he achieves submission to his authority. I would give him no stars if I could.

My husband had a consult with Dr. Khandhar and we were very impressed with his knowledge , he explained his background, and picked up right away my husbands symptoms. He was very thorough and ordered tests right away. He came highly recommended and we can see why. We have total confidence in him .

This is a great doctor. He is kind, smart and thoughtful. He is incredibly knowledgeable and explains the issues very well. I disagree with the previous reviewer about this doctor. He has so much compassion about his patients. He goes above and beyond in trying to help me. He gives his time to other organizations and have seen him speak on tv and radio. I would have thought that he was narcissistic, given that he has such a high profile but I was pleasantly surprised to see that this was not the case. This is a great doctor and I love to come and see his for my needs. These reviews are not always accurate but I have had multiple encounters with this doctor over the years and I know for a fact that he has lots of empathy. If you have Parkinson disease or any other movement disorder then he is the person to go see.

Totally agree with another reviewer that this doctor is a complete narcissist. I've never been treated so shabbily by a professional of any kind. I'm no doctor, but I did hold very responsible positions in my career and was liked and respected by the judges, attorneys, psychologists and other professionals with which I worked. I'd gladly be more respectful of Dr. Khandhar if only he had shown me one iota of kindness or interest in finding answers to my very real needs. I don't trust him as I believe him to be completely self-serving.

I have been seeing Dr. Khandar 5 years now. I really like him a lot. He always asks about my family and takes time to find out how I am doing. I always feel heard.

Can't get the help I need. Refuses to find the help.

From the first moment Dr Khandhar walked into to see us and introduced himself, I started to relax. Dr listened to my story, the symptoms and what I suspected and what my fears were with Dementia Lewy Bodies. He explained things in a manner that was compassionate and I felt relief knowing we were in qualified hands of a care provider. I can't say enough good about Dr Khandhar.
