Dr. Sunita Gupta, MD

The facilities are dirty, and there is a significant amount of food/food related trash behind the front counter. Rooms small and dingy. Office manager tried to get me to schedule appointments I don't need, threatened not prescribing my lipitor and BP meds, and sent an email threatening collections on a $44 bill I haven't received that was 30 days out. Stay away.

I seldom see a doctor unless I am sick or need a checkup. Whenever I saw Dr. Sunita Gupta, I never have to wait long. If appt is set for 8am, you're in at 8am. Previous doctor we used to go to was a pain to deal with. Prescriptions are always filled without a hassle with Dr. Gupta and I never had to go there in person to ask for an automatic refill prescription. Staff was organized and competent. She was honest unlike other doctors. When your lab test came back, she will call you to give you the results which saves you the copay visit.

Dr. Gupta is the best doctor I have had in my 44 years. She is very helpful, happy and always ready to listen.

I have never seen such a chaotic disorganized, unhappy office. The manager which is Dr. Gupta husband is the worst human ever. He is so rude and has absolutely no manners. Has no clue what he is doing but yet he has control over everything including the doctor. He yells at patients , staff and even the insurance companies. On top of that they have new employees every time you go in because no one seems happy or treated well . She usually has another provider with her but does not let them see patients on their own. Also dr. Gupta hardly gives #90day supply of meds , its usually 30 or 60 then you have to go back and pay for copay, lab work and other unnessecary tests just to get your refill. They don't keep track of payments and try to charge new patients if they don't come in even though they are not patients yet . And good luck getting a referral done correctly or on a timely manner . Save your time ,money and sanity and do not go here.

I saw Dr Gupta and was impressed with how sweet she is. She also takes the time to listen to and answer all questions. I am happy to have found her. She is a asset to the medicine in phoenix.

I have been seeing Dr. Gupta as my primary care physician for a little over a year now, as has my wife. She always takes time to explain her diagnosis, findings, and answer all of my question in as much detail as I request. Her bedside manner and sense of caring for her patients is to me, what sets her apart from most other doctors. She will always do what is best for her patient while utilizing all of the best and most current medical knowledge, which has not always been my experience at other family practices. Highly recommend Dr. Gupta.

Dr Gupta saw me today for the first time. She was excellent! She listened carefully, asked questions beyond the normal, and took her time with me even though she was very busy. She apologized for being late to see me (only about 3-4 minutes after my appointment time!) She tried very hard to put me at ease and welcomed me as a new patient. I have found an excellent caregiver who is highly concerned about her patients!

Dr. Gupta is a very professional, compassionate, caring and thorough doctor who listens to her patients. She makes referrals to specialists as appropriate As a diabetic, she coordinates my care from various specialists.... most whom she referred me to such as a nephrologist, a podiatrist, an optometrist, endocrinologist, etc. Dr. Gupta is also a very knowledgeable internal medicine physician. She is one of the few doctors I know that calls and follows up with her patients. I highly recommend her.

My husband and I are fairly new to the area so our history with Dr Gupta is only recent but so far it is a good one. We have found her to be thorough, knowledgeable, a good listener (important I think), and very caring. How many doctors today call you to follow-up? Promptness I believe is relative as long as when it is your turn you get the time necssary to get results! Kristin the medical assistant is courteous, professional, knowledgeable, and efficient.
