Worst office in the state of Arizona tacky lazy @$$ staff

I chose this doctor based on location and insurance coverage. My first visit was for a general physical. A month later I learned a partner had been diagnosed with gonorrhea. So I called Dr. Bandlamuri's office, told them what was up, and asked for her to order an STD screening, including both oral and rectal swabs, because of the specific exposure risks. They insisted I had to see her in person. As I needed the STD tests, I reluctantly complied. At the visit, all she did was have me repeat what I'd told the staff on the phone. She then put in an STD order. At the lab, I found she'd ordered only 1 swab but not the other. Later, I read her post-visit notes and saw she'd written that she'd counseled me to have only protected sex, with condoms. That was untrue: she'd provided no counseling. To sum up: she required an unnecessary visit (for which she got paid); was medically negligent (she didn't order a necessary test); and claimed to have provided service she hadn't provided.

I think the people who wrote these reviews don't understand the meaning of high quality medical care. In my experience, Dr. B has the best intentions. She makes sure I know exactly what I need to to stay healthy. I don't need her to spend an hour with me baby-ing me. I like her because she's honest and straightforward. I think her staff is nice but busy. This doctor has saved my life. I feel confident about my health under her, and I have not felt this way with other doctors. This doctor is one of the best that the medical field has to offer. She is meticulous and always catches things BEFORE they turn into a huge problem. She has good bedside manner and is efficient. She does not waste my time and has the best intentions. I recommend her to everyone. She has made me healthy and I feel comfortable in her clinic. She has us come in for our annual checkup because she cares and wants to make sure the medications we're on are the right dose at that time. She is so underrated

Dr. Bandlamuri does not spend enough time with her patients. I arrive early - my vitals are taken and then I'm sequestered in a room for sometimes a30 minutes. When she comes into the room, she checks my record on the computer, and and we don't talk....unless I interject with a question. She spends perhaps 15 mins. with me and then is out the door. Am seriously considering changing doctors. Perhaps she has too many patients. Does the insurance companies dictate how many they must see in a day at 15 mins per patient

I came to Dr. Bandlamuri for a Pap test. She told me the results came back abnormal and said I should come back in a few months to repeat the test, which I did. On my next visit she told me the test had been cancelled! I got this in writing. When I left the office one of her staff called and told me the results had come back negative. I have tried in vain to get a hard copy of the results but keep getting lied to when they say they mailed it to me and will mail again. I called Medicare and I was told that her office had failed to provide correct information so they refused to pay her for the lab test. I was never billed for the lab test but had to pay for a wasted office visit. She also neglected to tell me of another lab test and instead gave me a prescription for a medication for a different condition. I have a friend who also feels that she is a waste of time and keeps scheduling appointments in order to make undeserved money. In my opinion this is the WORST medical dr. I have ever… encountered and I fired her.

She is an really good Doctor, but her staff is lacking so much knowledge, professionalism and empathy

Very difficult to get through. They forward calls during the day to answering service which isn’t permitted to take messages. So what is the point?? They leave you on hold a long time. Once they left me on hold and went to lunch with me on hold. I hung up and called back to get the answering service. Came to my scheduled office time and office was closed with people waiting outside.

Whenever I make an appointment to see the doc, I have to see her PA. Office doesn't share results of tests or if they do, they require you to come in so they can charge you for another visit. I had some problems and told the doctor about it and she said not to worry - no explanation, no offer of treatment, no suggestions. Just "don't worry." She put me on a medication once and my surgeon found out and immediately told me to STOP taking it. I have changed doctors and have a GREAT one now!

The only issue I have is the wait at times. Other than that Dr. B and Nicole are excellent care givers as is Vanessa.

Dr B. is very thorough and follows through all her care with you.
