Dr. Surendra Mohan Gulati, MD

Completely missed the fatal, but treatable, disease later diagnosed and treated by Mayo. Women should avoid this guy. Stripping for a visit to a neurologist is not normal. And his exam was weird, to say the least. He is a jerk. Just go to Mayo and skip Gulati.

Dr Gulati is quiet but extremely thorough. He took the time to listen and asked numerous questions. He personally reviewed my son's CT scans. Fully trust his expertise.

Dr. Gulati charged me $300.00 for what turned out to be a quickie visit. He was in and out in 3 minutes. He asked me a few simple questions. He looked at me and then wrote a script for an expensive drug. He handed me the script and then turned and left. He told me: ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

Horrible, he was more concerned why I didn't use doctors in his network. I was just sent to him by my GP because he is closer than my other neuro. The two neuros I had before are specialists and top in their field, Mr. Gulati is not, but told me he thinks my illness is from sleep apnea. I almost started laughing, and ask if that causes most of my problems. He said Im not sure, Im not a specialist. you should make an apt with your other neuro and ask him if you really have what you were diagnosed with. Would never recommend to even an enemy.

Been with him for about 3 years now and looking for someone else every time I go to him I leave the office knowing nothing about my nurolical condition I had a drinking problem and sent me to a special ist and he was able to help me with that however doctor gelato tends to be more of a physicist to me more than a neurologist in fact I get more care from my psychiatrist that he EVER has given me all he tells me to do is go get a good draw he Olney sees my head is when I have a seizure when I go to the ER skip this guy and find someone else you'll wish you did in the long-term

I was impressed with the time he spent with me especially after the reviews on here. felt at ease as we spoke and liked his very candid approach. He does not play Doctor with you he is a Dr. and gave me a complete exam. I did not walk out feeling like I go the "BUMS RUSH" of care. I will review this after we figure out what is going on with me and how the course of treatment goes but so far he is the most competent Neurology Specialist I have seen.

This doctor had terrible bedside manner. He totally missed why I was coming in. I will not return to him.

I have never been to such an egotistical unprofession dr. in my life. So uncaring and unhelpful to a patients needs. I did not put dr in caps because he does not deserve it. I work in a profession office with 10 DR.'s that would do anything to help their patients and go above and beyond the needs of patients.. I will not be back ! I need a Dr. with feelings. I apoligize for the Star, you do not deserve even one but could not submit without one.

Dr. Gulati diagnosed me in the early 80s. I can not say enough about this doctor. I do not make a good patient as I just dont have time to be chronically ill. I love his bedside manor and sense of humor. Most of all I appreciate the fact he listened to my concerns and understood my belief structure.I am not a big supporter of pharmaceutical drugs and it took him many years to before I took my first Avonex injection. I did not continue this treatment due to the side effects. He told me the importance of my diet, exercise along with vitamin and supplements.Anyone and everyone who lives with MS I have told them this is the doctor you need. He changed my life, not because of the diagnosis but the hope he gave me. Thank you Dr. Gulati.

Dr. Gulati is old fashioned, and his manor can be a little rough, however, every time I have ever thought he didn't know what he was talking about i had to eat my words. If you want Mr. nice guy he is not your guy, but if your brain health is number one, then I would recommend NOBODY over Dr. Gulati. He tells it strait and thanks to him I have been seizure free for three years and counting and I have fewer migraines.
