Dr. Susan Joy Kramer, MD

Dr.Kramer is an amazing doctor. She is very nice and caring. She goes above and beyond and gives great advice. I moved to Texas’s so she’s not my doctor anymore. When I sent her a message on what’s been going on with me, she called me when she was on her vacation just to see how I was doing. She’s an amazing doctor and we still keep in touch. I will never find a doctor as good as her.

I just now try to schedule a appointment for my check up, and can’t find the phone number from my phone so I search her name and see all the reviews, she is a amazing DR and very friendly and all ways ask if I have any questions, I love her??

Dr. Kramer is extremely intelligent and more importantly, she genuinely shows care for me during check-ups. Awesome doctor!

When I go see Dr. Kramer, I feel like she cares about my overall current and future health. She did a great job explaining preventative cancer testing and screening and helped me put a plan in place based on my family history.

Extremely inconsiderate and careless individual . Has no knowledge of obstetric, and should not be practicin . Beware!

My wife went to this doctor when pregnant and we had an awful experience. She actually berated my wife while she was in labor, and refused to give us medical information. Stay away from this horrible OB.

I went to NorthShore on the recommendation of a friend of mine for Erika Smith but Dr. Smith was on leave so I scheduled with Dr. Kramer. She spent literally five minutes with me could have cared less about my questions - actually made me feel stupid for asking. After the appointment I felt like I should see another doctor for my annual visit but now I've used up my annual insurance visit. it seemed like a cattle call, patients go in and out. I will not go back and will look for an independent practice, not one with 1900 doctors where their patients are just a number. Extremely disappointed.

Dr. Kramer has to be the most disagreeable physician I have ever met. She cares very little about the wants and needs of the patient. She is rude and has the worst bed side manner I have ever experienced. My father was a physician for 50 years and I have spent a good deal of time around doctors. She is one of the worst!!!

I am so sruprised as I read all of these negative reviews. I have been with Dr. Kramer for 10 years and two kids and have had great experiences. I have always felt that she is kind and professional. I had one appointment where I was upset and I felt that she really listened to me and made me feel better. She is busy and so she doesn't linger in appointments, but always asks if I have any more questions before she leaves the room. I never feel rushed. I had some internal tearing after the birth of my first child which required an additional surgery and that surgeon strongly encouraged a c-section for any future children. So I did have a c-section at his recommendation with my 2nd. I was worried about being able to breastfeed right afterwards. Dr. Kramer was super supportive of this. She insisted that the baby stay in the OR with me for as long as possible while the stitched me up and and then told the nurses to get him to me in the recovery room ASAP once they checked him over… so that I could nurse. I just wanted to share my experiences becuase they have been positive and so different from the ones I have read here. I also saw Dr. Buccelato in the practice frequently and really liked him as well.
