Dr. Susan Michele Lupo, MD

My daughter has 2 insurances, advocate is primary and aetna is secondary. The billing office is refusing to take her insurance and get a denial from advocate and then submit to aetna. I was told by nancy she will have to pay cash. My daughter wants to see dr lupo and because of this nancy is refusing her service. This is not right!

Dr. Lupo may be good for basics - Pap Smears, Std Testing, and check ups. But she likes to put what she "knows" in front of how you feel. I had a Colposcopy done and told her it was excruciatingly painful for me, and she just told me "no, it isn't." Additionally, she is no specialist. I went to her with concerns that I had Endometriosis - she immediately (without a diagnosis) wanted to put me on risky medication. Months later when I finally convinced her I wanted the laparoscopic diagnosis before treating with risky medication, she tried to fight me on it. She also told me that some of my symptoms were not related to endo (extreme fatigue was one), but when I went to a specialist later on, my specialist told me that those symptoms align exactly with endometriosis sufferers. I also wouldn't suggest going to a "Woman's Clinic" that constantly, in your face through emails and all over the offices, tries to get you do to "cool sculpting." This is obviously taking advantage of women and… marketing strictly towards them to make money. Dr. Lupo may be good at would she does - but if you have anything other than simple std testing, pap smear, or a regular check up, go somewhere else.

Dr. Lupo made me feel at ease, and she answered all of my questions without hesitation. She even waited as I got the courage to ask more. She walked me through every step of my exam, and she listened to every concern I had. She gave me some tips and samples to help out with things. Definitely happy with her, and I’m extremely lucky to have found her!

Dr. Lupo was very friendly, listened to my concerns and addressed them accordingly. Wait time was very reasonable. The nurse was also very thorough in getting my information as a new patient. Very pleased with this office.

Dr. Lupo makes you feel comfortable and relaxed, like you're visiting with an old friend. She doesn't judge, just moves you forward with care plan. She walks you through every step of your exam so there are no surprises. She makes an "uncomfortable" exam quick and painless. She has an infectious laugh, and if you like your doctors to have personality, she is the GYN for you. Her nurse was also wonderful and made me feel welcome. Would highly recommend Dr. Lupo.

She spends time talking with you and answering questions and seems like she genuinely cares. You are more than just another patient.

Ive been going to Dr Lupo for more than 8 years....she's excellent..a true professional!

I disliked that we were denied services because we don't accept blood, and Ben though we were not there for a surgery but for a check up, because it's their policy.
