Dr. Susan G Manella, DO

Well where do i began, Dr. Manella's Office Manager is unprofessional, she didn't listen, was condescending after I told the front office how frustrated I was becoming with no call follow ups from a doctor to discuss my medical condition. I also reiterated that Angie promised to have the doctor call me to answer my questions on Monday and today is Wednesday so no call so I decided to call. Mind you Angie had already given me misinformation from the incorrect bloodwork, and she followed up and left a message that she made a mistake and gave me he incorrect results (I still have he message). Finally I decided to drive to he office approximately a week ago to speak face to face since they claim they dont have my new blood work that was requested by the Office from The Quest. I actually had to drive to the Quest to verify that they uploaded the information. So when I arrived to the office I was informed that Angie was on lunch break so another I must admit pleasant young lady assisted me… and was able to pull my new blood work and submit it to the doctor. If did receive a call back from Angie and or the Office Manager who gave me my results and I explained to her my health concern and would like to speak directly to the doctor for a probable solution because this treatment plan I had been on for years was not proving highly effective. She then said I had to come in and meet with the doctor, I explained and she verified I had an appointment in August, but I need to speak with a doctor before then. She refused and kept pushing the appointment. She finally said the doctor will not be available until Monday and she would have her to call, I then said what about speaking to Dr. Manella and she said she is not available but would have my assigned doctor call me on Monday. No call it's Wednesday so I called. I informed the front desk staff of my frustration with Angie and she explained that Angie is performing the tasks of 3 people and she is doing the best she can, I said no excuse my health is failing, Dr. Manella needs to hire more help, retrain or fire the incompetent staff. Next thing the Office Manager came to the phone being condescending, accusing me of being angry (like black women can't be frustrated with incompetence, neither can they express their dislike, we are just suppose to tolerate any old type of treatment) the Office Manager apparently is friends with Angie because she never listen, understood or cared about how incompetent Angie was performing so she kept speaking condescending and refuse to listen, I asked to speak with Dr. Manella, she said she is not in the office and hung up. I was hung up on twice. All I know is Dr. Susan Manella's Medical practice and professionalism has gone to the dogs in terms of office staff. I have been a client under Dr. Manella for over 15 years probably 20 or more and have never had any concerns with office staff. Dr. Manella is a wonderful doctor, or should I say she use o be because I don't quite know how it happen but I have actually seen her for a visit in probably a decade. The office has expanded, this is great, but since the pandemic appointments are at least two months out before you can be seen. However, I offer no excuses for the incompetent Office Manager and Angie the assistant for Dr.Dubin. They both need to be fired or retrained on customer care, especially when they are serving people who may not be feeling well, unhealthy or worst dying. I am moving my PCP to Cleveland Clinic where I always get the highest and best professional care and service. Later with Dr. Manella's ghetto, gangster, incompetent and careless office staff.

I called to try to make an appointment gave them all of my information got down to the insurance and she told me she needs to pay ID number which I told her there was no P ID number on the card and she said there has to be I said I have a member ID number and a group number she says well I don’t think we take your insurance I said can you find out and she said no I don’t know.

Our family has been patients of doctors Susan Manella and Scott Edele for many years. We have always been giving excellent, professional, caring, patient care. The doctors, pa's, nurses and office staff having treated us like family. I have no hesitation recommending this great team.

EXCELLENT!!! There is nothing else to say. The entire staff is knowledgeable, kind, caring and treat you like you are the only person on earth! They are all great! THANKS!!!!!

I was referred to Dr. Manella by my doctor who was moving out of the area. She is 1 in a million. VERY THOROUGH!!!! Great exam, recommendations that are appropriate. But more than that - she actually looks at EVERY test result!!!! SHE HAS LITERALLY SAVED MY LIFE TWICE. Her staff is an extension of Dr. Manella. They are easy going, fun but efficient and caring. I feel like family when I am there. Her advice to have a CT scan of my lungs caught a lung cancer early. Her recommendation to have a brain MRI found two strokes that no one else was aware of. Just totally awesome. A real treasure!!!!

Dr. Manella is fabulous and very thorough. The office staff is very prompt about everything. The nurse practitioners are wonderful. Very happy with my experience.

Very bad office staff.you call and wait for every to pick up the Phone.when you go office visit you never see the Doctor.if there is problem with your insurance or medication they do not care.there office mgr.is terrible does not help you.I am ready to go other primary Doctor.STAY AWAY FOR THIS OFFICE FIND OTHER DOCTOR

Doctor Manella is excellent! She takes time to speak with you and shows a lot of concern.

Wonderful Dr. But her office manager is a home wrecker.. Don't get sick or end up in hospital, she will pretend she is your friend and than ruin you while you are dying in hospital. She will take advantage of your whole family.. But Dr.is super. Just stay away from office manager.

I have been going to Dr. Manella for many years. She is very knowledgeable and thorough during consultation. Her practice has gotten very busy these past few years, but I would not change for another doctor. I am confident with her diagnostics. Also, her staff is very courteous, show genuine concern, and answers to my inquiries and requests promptly.
