Dr. Susan Chang Rim, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Rim for a few years now. She is simply one of the best doctors I have met. She follows up with you and will addresses any concerns. Her staff is great too!

I have been a patient of Dr Rim for over 3yrs. She is kind, patient and compassionate. She always makes me feel at ease. I would recommend her to anyone!

We have attempted to schedule an appointment with Dr. Rim. Upon sending our records over we have not heard back for almost 3 weeks. Apparently, even though they have over a half dozen doctors, only one nurse can review records. We have been without a provider because this one person has been too busy. I call the office and all I get is "Yea, I'm sorry" and "Yea, she is busy". Unacceptable handling of your business.

I have 2 d&c, and one miscarriage. Baby number 2 on way. Highly recommend Dr Rim.

I have been to many Advocate gynos in the past few years, mostly based on hours and my availability for appointments. I ended up in her office & have stayed with her since - she has helped me Through some serious gyno issues. I had surgery done her that went very well. Had a rare complication, but received callbacks from Her nurse and the Dr. herself personally checking up on me. She stays informed in other related aspects of my health, I wish she could be my general doctor too.

Saw Dr. Rim for a routine GYN checkup. Front desk staff, nurses, and Dr. Rim were all courteous and professional, and accommodating of my infant. As for the other reviewer who gave Dr. Rim such a poor review, the practice is large and busy. If a patient is running severely late, it will put the doctor's entire schedule off to accommodate that late patient, and frankly, a disservice to other patients in the practice who are there on time for their scheduled appointments. Finally, the practice is very easily located on the first floor of Lutheran General's Yachtman Pavilion - not entirely sure why the other reviewer had such difficulty finding it.

On my way to the office as a new patient I had trouble locating the building so I called the office to ask for directions. Instead, I was told that I would have to reschedule even though I would be no more than 15 minutes late and they had given me the incorrect address. I tried to explain that I had driven a very long distance to get here and had rearranged my work schedule to make this appointment but the extremely rude secretary did not care. I advise anyone considering Dr. Rim to not use her unless you have infinite time in schedule to reschedule appointments and to be treated as less than human. I personally do not care for this kind of treatment.
