Dr. Susie Suh, MD

Doctor Susie Suh is a Rheumatologist who's office is in Salinas, CA only at this time. She has treated my wife, and at times me, for over 10 years. I was shocked to find negative reviews of Dr. Suh and her staff on this site! Dr Suh has always been there for my wife who has rheumatoid arthritis. My wife has always been treated in a very professional and kindly manner by Dr. Suh and her staff! As a matter of fact recently had it not been for one of her receptionists going out of her way to walk back into the offices to find Marii, who is Dr. Suh's assistant, so that Dr. Suh could immediately provide medical information to our hospital - they were not going to admit my wife for a shoulder replacement which she needed as hers had literally disintegrated and had left her in excruciating pain for months. Marii was not only kind enough to take care of the matter, but she apologized for not having replied to a voice message the day before, explaining to me that she was off that… afternoon and did not get the message until just before I called. Between the two of us, My wife and I have had 23 spine or joint surgeries so trust me we have dealt with many Physicians and their staffs. Dr. Suh and her entire staff are friendly, efficient and consummate professionals that we are exceptionally pleased with!

I have been with Dr Suh for many years, when I went to live out of state for 5 years and returned to her she remember my childrens ages stating" they should be college ready by now" Dr. Suh is not the type of Dr to shove narcotics down your throat she tries alternative methods first Awesome Dr

She wouldn't even listen to me, never let me even list my symptoms! Basically told me there was nothing wrong, & when I told her she wasn't listening to me, she got made stood up and walked out of the room and while in the HALLWAY screamed at me that she would "not give me any narcotics! That is not appropriate!" Meanwhile..I never even ASKED for her to give me narcotics. It was a horrible experience, even her nurse that as in the room seemed appalled. I'll never understand why Dr.s who treat these hard to diagnosis illnesses(fibro, lupus, Lyme etc) still treat people like me that was are crazy or drug seekers

I would love to be able to rate the doctor, however she refused my referral because she didn't seem to think that she could help me, however, I need to find out if I have arthritis or another autoimmune condition going on, so I still do not understand why she was unwilling to at least do a consult. Her office staff had a pleasant voice on the phone, but was very condescending and I hung up feeling very uncared for and rejected. Bummer
