Dr. Swati Kolpuru

Our son has had many layer diagnosis, very complex medically-clinically and often doesn't fit the "normal" issues even with in the diagnosis he has. Dr. Kolpuru took the time to review all of our son's records, and asked many questions and truly listened to us and talked directly to our son. She made sure he understood she is there for him, to help him and listen to him. She was able to figure out some very difficult issues my son has and also had additional testing done for him to help confirm her suspicions on some troubles he has. She was correct, and if we hadn't gone to her we probably would have ended up going out of state to a motility clinic in OH, where a unnecessary surgery would have been done. She's always been incredibly respectful, taken time to listen and also explain things to me if I didn't understand or had any questions about something she's doing in his treatment plan. She's available to other doctors, advocates for her patients in regards to medications or… problems with insurance. Her staff and the nurses are always helpful, call back and go out of their way to help. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Kolpuru. I highly recommend her.

Doctor didn't listen when told child had severe GERD. Insisted on a very painful Bravo chip. Said individuals with my child's genetic defect are just "Too sensitive" I guess the painful procedure proved it wasn't from being "Too Sensitive". Put my kid through scopes under anesthesia. Biopsies showed a diagnosis. Child put on medicine. Then several months later given a simple test and said her biopsies were incorrect and taken off medicine and diet that was improving child's health. So basically my child is in the same GI situation of extreme poor GI health, while doctor raked in money from insurance companies for expensive tests she performed, and then didn't believe the biopsy reports. Why didn't she do the least evasive procedure to begin with? Why do biopsies at all if you arent going to agree with the findings. To line her pockets! Avoid

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Kolpuru. She listens intently and kindly and offers well thought out information and creates a plan for you and your child. She is the second GI specialist we have seen and she and her office are top notch.

In my opinion, she jumps to the most aggressive treatment plan available without taking time to review the outcomes of more conservative options. I felt rushed by the staff as though they just wanted to get their assessments "over with" as soon as possible rather than make the experience as tolerable as possible for my terrified son. The NP was very friendly, but the doctor herself, RUDE and condescending. I will likely seek care elsewhere.

She was great.She spent time explaining things until my daughter and I understood. She called a few days after a procedure just to see how my daughter was doing. Her staff was friendly and very efficient. They worked hard to get me in time slots that were convenient for me. I really like her and her staff.

Swati is a friendly doctor. Her analysis are so far working for my daughter who is premature and struggling in Daycare. She could be more informative when treating for babies. As parents we expect more details on how to handle their apetite, than short answers. I liked her in all other aspects. Not much wait time.

I would highly recommend her. Agressive care plan, staff responds promptly to calls. Works great with special needs children. She has made a tremendous impact on our childrens health.

Dr lacks professionlism, doesn't show up on time for early appointments, long wait time & poor mannerisms. Practise staff does not follow up & are arrogant & rude. Have been extremely patient & putting up w/ poor services to a point that now frustrated and will not see or recommend the BPS and this Doctor. If your baby is sick, needs proper care, better see someone else.

she dont have a good bedside manner. she report us to CPS to get our kids so stay away from her. she misdiagnosing my kids.
