Dr. Sydney Fina Pomenti, MD

Sydney Pomenti is a gastroenterologist with an advancedskill set in both clinical evaluation and therapeutic endoscopy of esophagealdiseases. She graduated Summa Cum Laude and in the Honors Program at theUniversity of Miami undergraduate and medical school, with Alpha Omega Alphadistinction. Her postgraduate education was completed at Columbia UniversityMedical Center for both internal medicine residency and gastroenterologyfellowship. During her fellowship she completed advanced training in esophagealdiseases, including esophageal motility studies, as well as gastrointestinalmotility disorders. Dr. Pomenti has published on a variety of esophagealdisorders and cares for patients with all esophageal disorders, includingeosinophilic esophagitis, achalasia, esophageal motility disorders,gastroesophageal reflux disease, hiatal hernia, Barrett’s esophagus, andunusual esophageal disorders.
