Dr. Syed Ali Madni, MD

I DO NOT know what’s going on in this man’s life but from 4 years ago till today he is a different person hands down! So very sad! I truly likes him as my PCP! I was diagnosed with diverticulitis in May of 2018! I did not have a PCP @ that time! When I was admitted to Katy Memorial Herman he was appointed to me through the Hospital while I was there! I continued to keep him as my PVP because I liked him! All this time he would send me an antibiotic refill when I came down with another flare from diverticulitis over the phone! But when he came to see me yesterday as I was in the hospital yet once again he was very standoffish towards me, being very short with answers, & even @ 1 point leaned against the wall & hiked one leg up against it & stared me down like I’ve NEVER seen in this man! This world has done a lotta hurt to a lotta good people in this world! But there is ZERO excuses to treat a patient in this way when you took an oath to help others! Just AWFUL! So sad!

Dr. Madni has helped me lose approximately 15 lbs in a very healthy time period. I’ve been able to come off my BP and cholesterol medications due to his help. Can’t thank him enough! If you’re looking to lose weight, he definitely has a fantastic handle on obesity medicine and will go out of his way to get you the help needed.

I had been a regular patient of Dr. Madni for several years and did not have any issues. When the vaccines came out I had concerns about receiving the vaccine as I had a documented allergic reaction to vaccines in the past. When I addressed this with him he condescendingly scolded me and hung up on me. I had requested an exemption and provided the professional form my employer provided me. He wrote in all caps all over the sheet that he was denying the request. The writing was like a kindergardener and was very unprofessional. I then received a certified letter dismissing me from the practice. I have worked as a RN for over ten years. This is not an acceptable response by a healthcare provider who needs to remain objective in a a politically charged subject. I was a candidate for a medical exemption for several valid reasons and was thankfully granted one by another provider. I would avoid a doctor who is unable to separate his personal beliefs from patient care.

I am a former patient of dr Mark Bing, who passed away a few years ago. Now I was trying to stay in the same practice, and was offered to see dr Madni for a physical exam. I told the nurse that I will be missing dr Bing forever, cos he was the best doctor I had and been seeing him for years! the nurse made a remark about, was I really seeing him when dr Bing got older, talking about his personal health issues. I found it very-very unprofessional!!!!!! Dr Madni appears to be that kind of doctor who will not take you seriously, unless you coming in broken in two halves-extremely sick. I told him that would like to get an ultrasound of my ovaries done, because I had a surgery a few years ago, and want to check if I don't have any new cysts. dr Madni said, since he is already ordering the ultrasound of my gall bladder, he can't order the pelvic ultrasound, because he is worried about MY BUDGET!!!! well...I paid nothing out of pocket, because my insurance covered the ultrasound, and even… if I had to pay, it is my health concern, my money, and MY BUDGET, that only I should be worried about,,.....if I am taking time to go to a hospital in the pandemic to get checked out, I want everything to be done, not to be coming back several times, u know? On top of everything...it's been already 4 business days, since the lab gave doctor Madni my blood work results...the nurse told me it takes UP TO 10 BUSINESS DAYS for dr Madni to review the results....since he has a lot of patients ... Honestly, I don't think I will be coming back, will be looking for another Family doctor....

Dr. Syed Madni has been my primary care doctor for 5+ years. I have so much confidence and trust in Dr. Madni's medical knowledge. He is smart, he is polite and caring, he listens to what you have to say and he has never rushed my visit. His compassion tells me that he loves medicine and he loves his patients. Another reason for my complete trust is that he was picked by Dr. Rick Adams to be part of the Medical Colleagues of Texas which means Dr. Madni met the measure of a GREAT doctor.

Dr. Madni is great! He listens, takes his time, treats symptoms AND gets to the cause. He’s very thorough and truly cares about his patients.

Dr. Madni was kind enough to squeeze me into his day today at very short notice. Despite being booked, I appreciated his staff limiting wait times effectively. Doc himself was courteous, listened and took his time. I just can’t say enough good things about him.
