Dr. Syedqambar Raza Naqvi, MD

When being treated for mental healthcare, how sad is it that an MD in his profession can be so cold and uncaring. He is demeaning, rude and unprofessional. And I'm holding back. I never want anyone to have the experience I've had with this doctor. If I could I would stand in front of his office with a sign reading "WARNING: WORST DOCTOR EVER INSIDE!"

Dr. Naqvi is the most rude and unprofessional psychiatrists I've ever come into contact with. It astounds me that he is in the field of helping those with mental illness. I went into his office, he didn't ask me how I was or get to learn anything about me. He literally argued with me the entire time regarding the medication that I was on. He would not help me and rejected me as a patient. I explained that it was a waste of my time because I took off of work for this appt, he said "it was a waste of his time too". I also informed him that I wouldn't be recommending him to anyone I knew, he replied that he "wouldn't want me to" but in a nasty way- these were literally his words. It was absolutely unbelievable and I was in total shock. I suffer from anxiety along with other things, he actually triggered my anxiety so bad that I had a panic attack. If you are seeking help, it would be in your best interest not to go to Dr. Naqvi.

My son went to Brunswick at 11 years old for depression. He came out worse from the experience. Dr. Naqvi was very unprofessional. When I questioned him on my childs care, he snapped at me and said that I was "uneducated". He went on to say many more things that were untrue and cruel. I spoke to another parent of a patient there. Dr. Naqvi told her word for word the same diagnoses and how they would proceed. My Child was bullied by other children in this facility. He had to have plenty of quarters to make phone calls to me. I practically had to beg to get my son out of there. Many of the staff seemed to not want to be there themselves. There was only one nurse there that was kind to my son. I'm writing this review for my son who says he never wants another child to go through what he has.
