Tamara is a caring psychologist, and I worked with her for about a year. The first few months were insightful and helpful, though her approach is definitely unique and different from others I’ve seen. At times, when the session felt less structured, I experienced moments where her responses felt guilt-tinged or overly focused on specific wording, which sometimes made it hard to stay with the larger goals. In our last session, she became frustrated and suggested I could find another therapist after I brought up repairing our relationship and she asked if there was anything else I wanted to discuss. She often shared helpful ideas, but when I applied them, she sometimes grew concerned about having too much influence. Other reviewers note that the early rapport is strong but can shift over time. She means well, but I personally left sessions feeling more discouraged than supported.
