First time visit today/ great experience and no wait

Dr Horner has been working with me for 2 years doing the hormone injections. She and her staff take very good care of me. I am so glad I found them.

I went to see Dr. Horner for severe perimenopausal symptoms. She recommended bioidentical hormone therapy. I tried it and within less than a week my life completely changed. I have seen Dr. Horner for 5 years and am very grateful her and her care.

I recall having to make suggestions for possible treatment. She was not helpful and unresponsive. Not impressed at all, and would not recommend.

I got established with Dr Horner in 7/10. I had her treat me for cronic low back and hip pain as well as neck pain. She put me on medication and refered me to therapy for 1 month. I followed up as schedualed 1 month later. About 2 weeks later, I find out she is no longer practicing sports medicine and has gone into weight loss treatment. I was unable to refill my medication because no contact information was left. She should never have taken on new patients if she was planning on leaving 2 months later. I have an HSA account and depleted all of it after seeing her and going through therapy. Now I have to get a new doctor and start all over again before I can get anymore medicine. The worst part of all is I now have to self pay. I find it incredibly unethical the way she handled everything. I am writing this as a warning to any future patients BEWARE!!!!!

The doctor spent a lot of time with me explaining the diagnosis and treatment options. I felt that all of my concerns were addressed and questions were answered.

Felt like the doctor was disinterested. It felt like pulling teeth to get info out of her, she didn't volunteer information so I wasn't sure how knowledgeable she was; for one of my questions about possible drug interactions, she asked her intern if she knew anything about it. Felt like a waste of my time and money. I do not recommend this doctor.

Did not explore the problem at all, was told to "put up" with pain without looking at any alternatives. For real. She was patronizing and condescending. Never prescribed x-rays, or MRI's, or nothing. I don't know, maybe she didn't like me. If you go there, good luck!!Furious in St Pete.
