Dr. Tammi Lyn Schlichtemeier

She has been my doctor my whole life, I am now twenty years old and she has been a great doctor, thorough, always answers questions clearly and gives great medical advice, as well as life advice. If you want a doctor who is honest, thorough, and caring I recommend Dr Schlichtemeier.

Dr Schlichtemeier is by far the rudest, most confrontational and dismissive person I’ve ever seen in her profession. The other doctor and staff (Theresa & Jennifer) are awesome. FYI try to listen, understand, and at least pretend to care about a parents questions or concerns no matter the age 8 or 18. Just because a person turns 18 does not mean they know or understand everything. DR SCHLICHTEMEIER NEEDS A REALITY CHECK!

Dr. is great but the staff is horrible. This issue going on for more than 6 months. I call and ask for a vision and hearing report for kids school, as my kid portal not working, as staff created 2 profiles with the wrong DOB, after wasting my hours, I find out staff lost their reports. So I need to go to the Dr. Office again in pandemic with kids. I ask for the office Manager but the lady told I am helping, you get the reports @ the end of the visit and no charge for the visit, as is Dr. Office's fault. I took my kids there and get tests but didn’t get the reports, told me I will get them in the email on file. I called after a week and wasted my hours, no one knows what I am saying? We can’t see reports when you came here? I ask again for the office manager, staff didn’t want to transfer, keep saying I will try to help. Finally, one lady told me I found the reports are uploaded in bulk, I am emailing you. Didn’t receive it till today but on Thursday received a bill for this service and… insurance refused as is once a year deal, so I have to pay for it. I called the office and wasted my hours again and again staff didn’t want me to transfer to the office manager or Dr. but told me to go throw with insurance and try to run as backdated. I can’t hold my anger anymore and finally, she said I am transferring to office manager but I end up billing person VM. I left the message on that #, if I didn’t get the call back I will go to media but still no callback. I didn’t want to take my kids back to that creepy place but if they didn’t fix my billing issue I will go to authorities as well, to show how they making money in a slowdown in a pandemic. Shame on you guys.

Dr.Schlichtemeir is the Best Pediatrician in the DFW area. I would recommend her to all parents. She is very thorough, thoughtful and great with my little girl. I would not take my child anywhere else.

In 1995 Tammi was working Neonatal ICU when my Grandson was born very much premature, during his month long stay, she was instrumental in his care there. Dr. Schlichtemeier had taken care of both my Grandson and Granddaughter both of which my Wife and I raised, he is 22, she just turned 20. It was sad when they turned into adults and had to move on to "regular" physicians. Pediatrics is a rough job, especially with newborns and young children, Tammi is very observant and intuitive, ALWAYS made correct diagnoses and treatment to go with them. She's the best. Regarding her office staff, I never had a problem in all the years we were patients, though they must run it as the business that it is, or fail to stay open. I will not consider ratings left without comments, good or bad. Tammi is the only reason my Grandson is alive today.

we have been going to Dr Schlichtemeier for 5 years with 4 kids and missed one appointment as we got stuck in traffic, called in 15 min earlier to let them know that we were running late due to traffic, she charged late fee inspite of calling in early to let them know about the reason. No loyalty for being with her for so many years and showing up for all appointments in time and making all the payments on time. They refused to see my sick child because I had balance for going late to the appointment, said that they would not see my sick child until I paid the late fee. Changed doctors immediately, Rude staff without any concern for kids.

We have seen her for years. . .she is skilled, competent, and has a heart for the kids and families she sees. She has caught potentially serious medical issues with both of our children. Both she and her NPs have either called us personally or written us personally (handwritten letters) on behalf of our kids. We strongly recommend her--and her team.

Good doctor and awesome NP but horrible staff. If i call with a question i never get a call back. The staff does not do their job.

My daughter has been seeing Dr. S since she was nine months old. She is now 16....and I love that Dr. S knows us by name and history without looking back through her chart. She has taken phone calls from me after hours on numerous occasions and seen us on the weekend. I couldn't ask for a more competent and caring physician.

The staff is either incompetent, insensitive or overworked or just doesn't care. I have called this office twice. Once to enquire about paediatric services and another time to schedule a visit for our newborn. No one bothered to call back or check. We went to a different Doc. If this is what you get in just scheduling appointments, imagine what will happen when you have an emergency with your little one. Bad service should not be tolerated by anyone.

I was at the hospital and they said it was an emergency that I have to go to a Brain doctor and she did not give me the referral.

We started going to Dr. Schlichtemeier over 17 years ago when we moved to Coppell. She has been a wonderful doctor to my two children, so much so that now that they are 20 and 22, they have tried other doctors but want to still see her. She always gives you her undivided attention, never seems rushed and thoroughly explains things in a clear and concise manner. We are sad that our time with her as our children's doctor is nearing an end, we have been so blessed to have her medical expertise and care all these years and encourage anyone seeking excellent care for their children to come to Coppell Pediatrics!!!
